your right but just because of chicagos timeline. it we were a couple years further into the rebuild but Tkachuk 5 years at 8 million in his prime is valuable as hell.
Yeah i was thinking timelines. His perfect fit is the sens already.

But if the draft is real bad he would be great to have lol

Brady to Wings for Moritz Seider!
Not that this will ever happen because Ottawa's not trading Tkachuk and Detroit's not trading Seider... But this is laughable.

Detroit's NHL D is ass already, and the value gap between top line physical winger and #1 physical RHD is substantial. In a hypothetical world where this could happen, Ottawa adds. And I say that as somebody who would love to have Brady.

I'm a Leaf fan. Couple years ago I suggested Marner for Brady and was nearly run off the Leaf board. No ones laughing now. Brady is a stud. ( I'd still do the deal) :)

This team is so soft they arent trading Tkachuk. Everyone in ottawa needs to take a deep breath. FFS all its been is instability and turnover due to the worst owner in 40 years and the worst GM in the history of hockey. Who had no plan, just reacted. Enough.

Poitras, Carlo, and Ullmark for Brady, Korpisalo, and a second?
Ottawa adds? haha.

I think you're being very dramatic here and completely off. If you're a Red Wings fan, it's very obvious. Top line power forwards probably command the biggest premium in the game. You can draft a #1 dman every year in the draft, the same cannot be said for a top power forward. Tkachuk is a more rare commodity than Seider. Although I agree Det is probably happy to hold on to Seider.

Do I need to remind you that Seth Jones brought back Johansen when they were both young? Ottawa would not be adding lol

You missed the point of my post entirely.

Brady at 8 and younger fitting into the core of this team for a 13 million dollar rantanen whos older and doesnt fit the age of the core as well. No I wouldnt.

Yes, you would say no.

This is one of those cases where the only offers Ottawa would accept are offers other teams would not make. Like Ottawa might trade him for Makar, but Colorado is never going to offer Makar.

i think they are like 3 years apart in age.

cap hit difference is the kicker but that's the only reason mikko would be available.

Absolutely I would say no.

I'll keep the power forward.

The Sens have other issues to fix.

dude mikko is a 27 year old 6 ft 4 220 pound 50 goal scorer who paces for 100 points in the playoffs.

Rantanen is a stud but Ottawa spent decades looking for their own power forward. He's already PPG as a power forward and I don't think we've seen the finished product with Tkachuk. With an actual coach and an improved team down the road, I want to see what that looks like.

On a side note, I also want to see what new coaching does with Chabot equally as much.

you're overrating what a power forward means way too much just because they are rare.

Brady is rare, Rantanen is a better hockey player who wins his team more games and its not close.

Theres no point in talking to him about Tkachuk he's unhinged when it comes to discussing the player. The blind hate is borderline unhealthy.

Na you just dont understand physicality in hockey.
