Yes, but when you need to score with limited time you do start to make desperation plays. I give him a pass on that one
It wasn’t an isolated incident. Like some have mentioned. He hasn’t scored in many of our games

This whole concept of this young core rising to the top is either ill conceived or premature. Brady as good as he's been and as much character as he's shown is not immune from what is going on around him. The team has not grown.

Just for entertainment purposes, what do you all think Florida would give up to unite the Chucky brothers?

Definitely should not entertain this ..Sens may need to take a step back before they can move forward. I want Brady on board

Starts with Reinhart + maybe. I wouldn't do it though. Brady is an untouchable imo unless it's a sever overpayment for him.

What is he proving otherwise?

I give props to Brady when he is playing well, especially defensively because he is good when he tries.

But he isn't proving shit otherwise right now. Only that the C was handed out too quickly.

But I get this pushback from the people who legit think Brady is the greatest Senators Captain ever, and Alfredsson, Stone and Karlsson are nothing compared to him so it a compliment when people like that tell me have I no credibility.

If you can go ahead and show me in any posts anywhere that I’ve said the bolded you win. But you won’t .

Your posts are quite emotional and are written a little irrationally.

This why I said I give him a pass on that one.

He also has double the amount of goals of 2nd on the team. He has 11 and Bath has 6.

If they really want to dump Matthew I suppose they could send us a 2nd or something to eat that contract but it's going to be a pain for us to clear the cap space to fit him in....

For someone that seems to think so highly of their own opinion does it ever make you wonder why so many others understand how unique a player Tkachuk is. That realize he is a fantastic captain. That appreciate how he can effect a game very few players are capable of doing anymore? He's still a young player that needs to be coached. You accept that with other players but not him. Do you ever wonder hmmm I'm in the minority here maybe I have a bias? Or na?

They simply don't have the pieces. It takes Tkachuk or Barkov. So they won't do it. Conversation over.

This is relevant. Love the emotion Brady brings, but sometimes you just need to show maturity and keep the focus on winning and not the second to second injustices of the NHL. Brady needs to show more maturity and leadership - he can’t be distracted by a poke-check like that - lead by example and not by an unhindged emotional switch

Brady would fetch another superstar or a massive return. Brady has four years left at a good cap hit. His trade protection has not kicked in yet. Even if he hurt the Sens leverage by asking for a trade, teams would line up to get him.

The issue with getting full value is usually NMCs/NTCs, or the player leveraging their limited term to dictate where they can get traded to ala Matthew Tkachuk, Debrincat, etc. There wouldn't be any of those road blocks.

There is no way Florida could make it work. Not that I think the Senators would ever trade him.

The guy clearly feels the pressure at times of the inconsistency of this club. Winning ways and a winning culture likely wouldn't lead to as many outbursts like this.

I am not a fan of it either, similar to when Timmy had that run of games where he was always calling out the refs, it can be both an accurate reading of the in game situation by them but also be a damaging way to react.
