I think its great, especially since this atmosphere is gonna make him want to get to the playoffs himself even more, not like Brady needs more motivation mind you. Gonna be able to use his influence soon to put some pressure on the higher up to gitter done.

Players that get out of shape after they retire sometimes just stop training, watching what they eat etc.....because they have had to do that for over 40 years ( since they were kids).
It is their time now to enjoy pizza, beer, and become a couch potato. And once they do that they really lose their shape as body metabolism catches up with them. ( Us all).
Not to mention how many have injuries that prevent them from doing too much, especially those with bad backs. Yoga is probably the best thing for a lot of these guys, slow easy stretching so as not to strain anything. While the money they make today is crazy & sets them up for life, I know of a few of them that played a while back who didn't make as much & still needed to work after hockey & given their physical limitations have had their problems.

Brady Tkforecheck, doing his part to win back the fans too, like a great captain. Now just need an ownership that commits to giving Brady and the boys every chance to win.

With revenue tied to spending all we need to do as fans is to secure the org about $145 in revenue to ensure full cap spending.

It’s time for us to support Brady and Co.

My apologies - I just read zillions of “I hope new ownership allows this team to succeed” comments and I thought a little reminder that us fans actually have control over our spending may be a appropriate. Dorion said as much in his presser. If fans fund the team he can spend.

Brady starting to have a Drake at the Raptors run feel to it - it was fun at first, then it got old quick, then it was weird celebrity attention getting, and then it was a distraction and then it was just weird. We’re in the “got old quick”!territory and I hope we see less of Brady

Anytime the media thinks something is a good idea it gets destroyed by over attention - Brady supporting his brother is fine Brady being a super drunk fan for the Calgary Flames isn’t cool

Just hoping Brady isn’t the PK Subban of cheerleading

Naaa… not at all.

Not everything is negative.

The Drake thing was weird because (i) Drake is inherently super awkward and (ii) he was acting like he was a member of the team/an NBA player.

Very different situations here. Like night and day different.

Trust you to put a negative spin on it. And BTW he said he's heading home Saturday.

One thing Brady never does so far as captain in any interview is single out any player on the team. When asked who is the biggest jokester, or who says or does what kind of thing, he glosses over the answer and says everyone has their thing and there are so man (insert blank) on the team.

You can see that he’s working the captaincy pretty well already, always on point with putting the team first in every answer. Big smile on his face while doing it, talking about how tight and how awesome the group is.

It’s infectious. He is single handedly out there pumping Sens tires during the playoffs, making us somewhat relevant in the middle of the battle of Alberta of all places.

Love to see it, love hearing the guys say that they can wait for next season to start.

Infectious is the perfect word for it. Reminds me of Stone in that post-big-goal exuberance. Just impossible not to be stoked when Brady is.

Has Ovechkin as a teammate vibes imo. He's just as happy when a teammate scores or does something awesome as he does when he himself does it. He's the coworker who makes you want to come in to work everyday and youd be really sad/place wouldnt be the same if they left. We've all had a coworker or 2 like that im sure.

True, and he is simultaneously beings so pumped and happy and supportive of his Brother while also being undeniably the Sens captain who is super excited for next season.

Youthful exuberance filled with hope and excitement!

I don't get the hype, at all, and his music is awful imo, but Drake is a mega mega star and they were smart to lean in to it even if it's hokey. We'd be foolish not to do the same.

I don't mind this at all with Brady. Especially since it's the Flames. Leafs or Habs? Ya, I'd call it a bad thing, but they'd be the only 2 teams.
