I was out of country to past 25 days but my god how did Brady got selected for the all star game LOL?

It’s pretty much a corporate schmoozefest, media frenzy, and opportunity to provide slightly zany entertainment.

Brady is probably the sens top candidate for all three.

He’s also the captain and leading goal scorer. Checks out to me.

unbelieveable some of this fan base thinks he is not worthy.

Sad state of affairs already.

Probably because he’s pacing for 40goals, leads to the team in hits, fights, goals and 2nd in points.

Did you leave the country for a different reality?

I’d agree though that stutzle is more skilled. Brady with the better personality.

lol Answer is all on his own in regards for his dislike for Brady, yet you equate that with some of this fanbase.

Sad state of affairs indeed. Your painting skills need work.

Last time I looked hockey was a team sport. It takes more than one guy to step up in all facets of the game ; from goaltending, on the PK , scoring etc. That includes the physical part of the game. Brady rises to every challenge except one time where he didn't want to fight his brother for obvious reasons. If his teammates can't step up ONE TIME against Matthew T. then that tells me a lot about this roster. And for you to insist that BT do it then you don't know much about winning team sports either.
His brother literally doesn't care about this "obvious reason", Brady is okay to let a rookie like Sanderson get hurt standing up for our team than put away his familial feelings, the same with Matthew had done by being dirty against us.

Hockey is a team sport, your team is your family, and if your actual brother tries to hurt them and you go after someone not involved as much, you're not the warrior everyone thinks you are.

The standards some fans hold our captain to are so flexible its pathetic.

Such a bizarre stance that it had to be Brady to stand up to Matthew in that that game, meanwhile everybody loses there minds when Brady fights against NYR for hitting Stutzle because it apparently gave them the momentum to turn the game around. If you are worried about players getting taken advantage of, maybe send MacEwen out to get the message across, that's ostensibly why he's here after all.

One other guy in the league that for his parents, he won't fight. You'd think the other 19 guys on the roster could handle that one guy but apparently not, it has to be brady for some...

Because he's supposed to be this unicorn power forward this team will follow into battle no?

Is MacEwan the guy our team will follow into battle if he "stands up" to MTkachuk? If Brady is going to be a tough guy and rack up penalty minutes, do it against guys that are being dirty or pushing the line, like MTkachuk, not scrubs on Florida like Cousins or Gadjovich. Taking on your actual brother sends more of a message to your teammates than just racking up PIM playing at being a tough guy.

It doesn't seem to matter who he fights, people get mad if he fights late in a game because he's being selfish, they get mad if he fights a scrub because he's too important to be off the ice, they get made if he fights early because it gives the other team momentum.

Now it's that he won't fight his brother, one guy out of 700 NHL players, and that's a line too far for some...

82 games a season, if the team can't follow him into battle without him taking on one guy out of 700 then we're in trouble.

It's a team sport, there are 20 guy, one of them can pick up the slack the odd time that the other Tkachuk needs to be put in his place.

You speak of fans having flexible standards, yet the contorting of the standards for Brady somehow don't register, he's in the wrong according to someone no matter what choice he makes, he literally can't win, fight and he should have picked his spots better, don't fight and he's not leading by example, forget the other 81 games...
