TB, Boston, Canes, Avs. Easy path to raise a new banner.

If it happens it will be hardest path to a SC since expansion era started .. add in Leafs and these are 5 best teams in NHL .. and we would have to beat ALL of them to win a Cup

Yeah I mean I am not a fan of Dangle but the absolute undying hatred some people in the fanbase have for him has always been very odd to me. I don't mind some of his content...other stuff isn't for me. I appreciate the grind though being able to make being a fan of the Leafs into a full time job.

Way more frequently, some people confuse having the better score in the game with having a better performance or effort in the game from the skaters.
It's a natural human bias where most events that result in a goal weight way more heavily than they should in our perception.

Wouldn’t say way more frequently, but it definitely happens. The objective of a hockey game is to score goals. Having the edge on another team in various micro stats is not the be all end all of what constitutes which team performed better.

He was a leafs fan growing up, I recall an interview of him saying that. Prolly why he relishes going against us.

We just need a good strong game. Obviously a win is ideal but if we can pull out a solid 60 minutes regardless of the case, Ill be happy man

Nobody is talking about "various micro stats", and while the objective in hockey is to score goals, there's a lot more that factors into how many goals go in for or against in any particular game than just which group of skaters performed better or tried harder. Unfortunately, some people stroll in here after every loss, demand their casual eye test eye test to be infallible and impervious to normal human biases, and claim the team didn't try, didn't care, played like garbage, etc., regardless of how the team actually performed.

Top 6 LW scoring
Bottom 6 nasty disposition winger who can play and skate
1 big tough Defender
But……..
If there was only one move that we could make , it definitely would be a Top 6 Lw scorer with speed .

Our Left side on all 4 lines ( great respect to Bunts ) leave a lot on the table offensively…
Super quality , depth and balance in our Centre and Right wing positions .

Now my regular is Great Lakes plus a variety of Irish and English beers, including Trooper.
