Now my regular is Great Lakes plus a variety of Irish and English beers, including Trooper.

Throw out some names! I'm always open to trying out new beers.

Its also about friendships. I remind you that Johnny & simmonds are best friends. They invite other players to the cabin to get together and be better. Errrrtime. Simmy is not allowed to walk not by the order of peaky blooiinders but our captain Johnny. Johnny wants simmy around to take the pressure of him. It was Johnny also who wanted simmy to be around on that game 1000.

Mountainview Stout from Bench Brewing is a really nice beer for the winter time.

I'm not much into IPA's but I loved Red Racer IPA from BC which doesn't seem to be available any more so now when I'm in the mood for an IPA, I go for Tongue Tied from Nickle Brook.

Nobody is talking about "various micro stats", and while the objective in hockey is to score goals, there's a lot more that factors into how many goals go in for or against in any particular game than just which group of skaters performed better or tried harder. Unfortunately, some people stroll in here after every loss, demand their casual eye test eye test to be infallible and impervious to normal human biases, and claim the team didn't try, didn't care, played like garbage, etc., regardless of how the team actually performed.

I do find it amusing that when the Leafs play well, can't buy a goal for whatever the reason, some come to the conclusion that the they are not trying, nor do they care.

Fast forward a game where they look sloppy but the puck goes in 4 times and it's a complete effort.

Sometimes for whatever reason it just doesn't click and things don't work out.

For the sake of the entire fanbase I hope like hell they can make a run this year.

The Leafs could dominate for 59 minutes and in the last minute our goalie gets severe food poisoning cramps and let's in several Toskala 200 footers and in the PGT we'd have people blaming the loss on our lack of toughness.
