Newsflash (not for you, but still) : every player sometimes make bad decisions with the puck.

Pateryn wasn't better or worse than anyone.

So did... pretty much everyone.

It wasn't bad decisions, it was ONE bad decision, more than enough to sideline a guy like Pateryn (or Brolieu) as far as Therrien is concerned.

I realize Pateryn isn't a kid, but I've seen progress from him each season. He's been a late-bloomer, but an effective one who still has room to improve. He's tough and mobile -- a combination we need badly.

Beaulieu at least seems to have fought beyond the benching phase.

exactly. you don't need a star goalie to win the cup anymore. look at the last 5-6 cup winners; only Quick is an actual superstar. the rest are no-names or rookies.

Comforting comment haha. I assume I haven't missed much then? Honestly, I check the scores and see they keep losing but have been so busy that I haven't really cared. I've also kind of come to the point where until this coach is gone I'm not going to devote a lot of time into it.
