I'm expecting a big game from our boys, lots of energy, might bag 3 or 4, not sure if we'll win though. Unfortunately, I don't think Price will come up big. They need to give the guy a nice break. I like the second line, 2pts tonight.

Sigh another genius move... and people wonder why Pateryn has no confidence and can't seem to progress this year.

Hope they lose. Because why the **** not?

I wonder how much imput Daigneault has with regards to the starting lineup.
We sit players just because???
We also did it to Redmond when he was playing well with Beaulieu.

Just cant see the team winning this game. The lack of firepower up front is catching up and there are few options on the back end when it comes to puck movement. 4-2 Boston.

Firing the coach will change things for a short while. The fact that the team has such a lack of skill and talent would mean that things will momentarily get better before they would regress to the mean. In this case it would be a five hundred hockey club. And, please, do not mention Columbus last season. They have far better players than the Habs. Indeed, you cant expect plugs like Byron, Micthell, Flynn, and Shaw to become 20-goal scorers. They are what they are. Players who score 5-10 goals a season. In a good year, 15. Good complimentary players, but not prime time. We only have four top-six players in Galchenyuk, Pacioretty, Radulov, and, perhaps, Gallagher. Add to that atrocious centre depth and a D who has trouble moving the puck up the ice and you have what the Habs have, a team that relies on its goalie to win games.

Considering that both the Bruins and the Habs are rumored to have interest in Duchene i can't say that i'm surprised that Sakic and his acolytes are attending the game tonight.

Killing two birds with one stone by scouting both teams at the same time

He's going to be 27 years old in a few months, Pateryn is a #6/7 D.. he's simply not that good.

Pateryn's pretty good but he's no Bouillon or Gilbert in MT's expert opinion so he stayed in the AHL longer than he should have, then sat half a season.

Always liked him -- big, tough, defensively sound and actually led AHL defencemen in goals one year.
