With Gally back, this means we'll have a full line-up for the first time in forever. Hopefully he'll be able to givr a boost to Chucky.

If losing means MT is closer to being fired, then I'd take the L. This will most likely not happen though, so I'll gladly take the W vs the Bruins.

Hopefully the line-up looks like:

Pacioretty - Danault - Radulov
Lehkonen - Galchenyuk - Gallagher
Andrighetto - Plekanec - Shaw
Byron - McCarron - Mitchell

Wouldn't mind swapping Lehkonen with Ghetto if things don't get going as well.

This is a good lineup combination. I would do the same.

To the therrien getting the axe speculation. Not happening. If we make it to the 2nd round and lose to a good team in an extremely hard fought series and playoffs, therrien is safe. Anything less Therrien gets axed but it will not happen in season.

Good lineup. Probably the best that can be assembled with the current players. That 3rd line is small, unskilled and terrible though.

BigMac was in the AHL a couple of days ago and you put him on the first line? Come on...

Danault is busting his ass out there and doing an amazing job and you demote him to the third line?

Pac-Danault-Rads is the only line that actually creates something out there, let's break them up...

Plekanec is useless offensively but he's still doing a good job in a shutdown role , scratching veterans that are important for your team is a insta coach killer.

DD should sit for the rest of the season!

Carr is not even with the team... He was sent down .

Emelin-Weber is by far our best and steady D pair , and you want to break that up?

i wish i shared your enthusiasm.

we are a below average team right now.

danault has been a pleasant surprise this year. I already corrected myself and said fit mccarron in the rotation, on offensive zone face-offs or maybe double shift radulov with mccarron every once in awhile. I think Mccarron could generate offense by just being on the ice with talented players.

yes, I want to break it up. heck, i'd also like to split up pacioretty and radulov to see if we can get other lines going..what was the forward goal stat? radulov, galchenyuk and pacioretty are the only forwards to score in february. we need to shake something up, it's not working right now.

pleks needs to be wake up. he's a **** if he gets offended, he doesn't deserve to play just like dd.

I like carr over byron.

steady loss after loss, generating nothing from the back end during 5-5 play. chip da puck out.

The law of averages favours the Bruins in this one. Plus a change of coach, and they'll be more rested than MTL having played early yesterday. Watching Wild vs Wings for some real hockey and looking out the window at all the snow coming down. Our first real snowstorm this winter on Feb. 12, not bad.

I know some are wanting the Habs to lose possibly because they think Therrien might get canned.

But they're in a spot right now where they can't afford to throw games away.

Winning games doesn't mean that he will necessarily be safe either, if the offense cant get anything going and win say 2-1 then they still have to look at the issues at hand.

I think they gonna keep MT until the end of this season. Playoffs or not. MB might try to get some help on the trade market before thinking of firing MT.

If a loss garantees MT gets canned, it would be an excellent investment for the future...even with the loss, getting rid of MT would be a major step towards a championship.

Sadly, I doubt MB will have the balls to do what's necessary, so yep, we should hope for a win...

What's the point of winning? The team is in no shape to go anywhere in the playoffs. Changes have to be made, and losing will bring these changes closer.

There is a great coach available and hopefully losing will help push the terrible one out the door for a better one.

Losing one game to finally get rid of MT is worth it.If he sticks around we will probably miss the playoffs so it's well worth it in the big picture

6 loss in 7 games is a collapse

Not if Price is hurt or in a slump.

I don't know why I laughed at this. Maybe cause you threw a curve ball with the final sentence in the quote.

This video sets the mood

Montreal will most likely stay in Boston after the game as we are getting a major snowstorm.

I would imagine as well. You don't know of any one typical hotel that the road team stays in, do you?

At Walsh's PC, he said the T is fully functional, right? Don't think I'm gonna take a chance with uber/lyft given the roads.

Do you really see them adding Gallagher back for one game then a week off? He owns the Bruins but is this worth it right now in what will certainly be a fast physical game.

I was thinking the same, but same with Montoya playing yesterday (which I'm selfishly thankful for, even thought Price hasn't been great lately) - I think he'll want to get a game in before the break if he's ready.

They sent Carr to the minors to free up a roster spot for Gallagher... If they didn't plan to insert him into the lineup there was no reason to send Carr to the minors. Expecting Gally to play.

Hoping this logic prevails cuz Gally does bring it against the B's, even though he'll be rusty.
