It’s funny to see the narrative switch on Lysell. I love him as a player, had him ranked 6th overall before the draft. But the vast majority of people said he was a late 1st rounder with attitude issues and questions about his hockey IQ. Now all of the sudden it’s as if he’s guarantee to be a top 6 winger.

The attitude issue thing was nonsense. He just wanted to be in a position to succeed and had a different view of what that was.

No one is trading you a C like Hertl or a D like Chycrun for a food prospect (not a top10 prospect in the league) and a low 1st, you're delusionnal
#1 its delusional
#2 its Chychrun
#3 Lysol is a cleaning agent not a food prospect

Considering you can't spell or differentiate cleaning supplies from food, I won't take your post too seriously. Oh......and just to touch on your terrible post.......Hertl, if he actually wants to be traded.......has a 3 team list and IF he chooses Boston (Pasta's good buddy) we would not be trading Lysell and a 1st.......see Taylor Hall last trade deadline.

Bruins add 1st + a prospect here I think.

I dont know if OEL has negative value to Canucks but he could be an interesting add to Bruins too.

I don't get the hype with Garland.

The idea was that his production was restrained because he was in Arizona. Now in Vancouver he's scoring at a lower clip. Not a great skater. Tiny. 50-point player.

Why should I be paying $4.9m for that when I can get Craig Smith for $3.1m?

I mean does Garland really move the needle for boston? Value aside, Debrusk has 14 goals 10 assists, Garland has 14 goals 17 assists. Why would Boston add heavily to Debrusk when his q.o is lower than Garland's aav? Same age as well. Don't think bruins would be interested in moving debrusk plus a large + for Garland.

What do 50pt players signed long term who are only 25 years old get then? Because a mid first + (what Lysell is) is kind of exactly the value you’d expect…
Lysell upside is pretty big. And many bruins fans are huge on him. If a 1st and him will be moved it better be for a position of need and not an undersized winger. Like the player just not what the bruins need.

Garland is a lot like Marchand. Tiny. Annoying. Heart and soul.
Could be great in Boston.

Even when Marchand was only a 50-point player, he was one of the best defensive wingers in the game and an elite penalty killer. If Garland was that, he'd be worth $4.9m but he's weak defensively and doesn't kill penalties.

Garland will get zero playing pp time in Boston as well. If he is your best 5 on 5 player give your GM's head a shake.

PS I have Bruins season Tickets

We fired that GM (for obvious reasons) but getting Garland was not one of them.

FYI, the only Bruin player who has a higher 5v5 P/60 than Garland is Marchand.

That is true. But he can potentially learn from the best.

Because Smith isn’t 25, and pacing for 37 despite playing some time with Marchand and Bergeron? Garland is a fantastic 2nd line W
