The Bruins/Islanders series took a big turn once Carlo was done. He is so valuable anchoring that 2nd pairing... now if they could find him a partner...
Not that I'd ever want to see this happen (would kill me as Rielly is my favourite player in the NHL) but if the bruins got Rielly on a discounted deal as a UFA around 6ishM and paired him on the 2nd pairing with Carlo i think that would be a great pairing and a better version of the Krug-Carlo pairing
Don't know what will happen with Rielly (hoping he extends long-term but if not gets dealt for a 1st+), but Boston has attracted UFAs in the past, they could be a location for him if he wanted to stay in the Atlantic division while playing for a team that has pieces to win and where he could be utilized strongly
