Well, I'm surprised. Very friendly deal. For his first 8 years after his ELC, he will have made a little over $3.75 mil on average. Great value.

As an Islander fan I agree that losing Carlo was absolutely the turning point of that series.

I was always a fan of Carlo, but seeing him more regularly throughout this year I was even more impressed.

On one hand I feel so, so bad for Carlo lol. He's easily one of the best pure d-men in the league but it doesn't show up in his numbers to the point where he could bring it to the negotiating table.
