Don’t see how he’s earned 5 per year like some are suggesting. He provides no offence and gets injured a lot. Maybe 4. People comparing him to Pesce are way off. He’s not as good defensively and nowhere close to as good offensively. Pesce is so underrated. Great skater whereas Carlo has difficulty with his outside turn.

He's given up the 7th fewest xGA in the league the last three years. 30 fewer than Brett Pesce. He is not good on offense, thats for sure, but he's a total vacuum defensively. Nothing happens when he's on the ice. B's don't score much but the other team scores less. Ton of value in knowing he's out there 22 min a night erasing offense.
