If we substitute DeBrusk with Spooner and add a 2nd round pick from Boston going to Winnipeg and Cehlarik to Anaheim I think it will be alright for all sides.

Many Jets fans have made it know they don't like Fowler thinking he isn't that good because of his advanced stats and don't care about anything else.

Spooner and Cehlarik would be fine for the Ducks to acquire.

Lol only Boston wins this deal, At least a pick would need to go back to Anaheim and a pick or decent prospect would need to go to Winnipeg. And can Boston afford tp give Trouba $5.5 million to $6 million per long term. What's their cap now.

If Jets aim to get a youngish LD in return for an unsigned Trouba there isn't a better option than Fowler on the table, if they like it or not. Who else is available? Fowler + 2nd is as good as it gets.

Sign me up for Spooner and Cehlarik for Fowler, but I'm very curious to see how a top six of: Marchand Bergeron Pasta and Spooner Krejci Backes will go.

Did Trouba help his team make the playoffs and win the William M. Jennings Trophy by leading his team in average time on ice per game while playing with 3rd pair quality defense partner and having less offensive zone starts while facing opposing teams scorers? Did Trouba outproduce Fowler despite Fowler missing many games because of injury?

Stop being a JetsHomer and view things objectively. Calling Trouba >> Fowler is nonsense.

Terrible proposal.

If the Jets wanted Fowler they could do it using their own vast wealth of ammo and as such wouldn't need to involve Boston in the transaction. By extension, if they wanted to do this, they probably already would have.

Given that the Jets have yet to cave to Trouba, doubt they will anytime soon.

I wouldn't move Lindholm for a deal based around a lesser dman so I can understand your reasoning.

Being someone who roots for the Ducks first and our Canadian teams second, I do hope that Trouba and the Jets can find a resolution that keeps him in town.
