I can see Jack having a huge night. He has been on fire recently and he is playing against his good buddy Zegras. I’m sure they have a bet or bragging rights on the line and will try to outdo each other.
Imcoming double hat-trick 6 goal amd 3 assist game by Jack incoming . Hopefully Gibson starts . He has been dog shit. Their kid goalie Dostal is going to be good and Stolarz seems to pull good games out of his ass every once in awhile so I hope Gibson gets the start.
Hopefully we don’t look past the game and the boys come out and bury these guys right away. With Blackwood playing , it is a decent possibility that he gives up a early goal or two to deflate the team , so I’d like to see us score first and keep piling the pressure on them .
I need to pound some coffee here or Ill be asleep before the game starts . Which is pretty sad as I am in the MST time zone so its a 8pm start for me here…..

Gibson is just.......... He's not as bad as Blackwood, but he's no damn good anymore. He needs a change of scenery at best, but he's still incredibly overrated by Ducks fans and fans of other teams that just don't know any better, all because of what he used to be,.
The Ducks are BAD, yes, but he seems to exacerbate it by turning way too many lopsided losses into just heavy blowouts.
Like that game against the Bruins last weekend? He allowed 7 goals. Yeah, he probably should have given up 4, maybe even 5, but he added about 3 softies in there to make it a touchdown and an extra point.
The last game against Edmonton? Klim Kostin's first goal was a stoppable one for sure.
Stolarz has better underlying numbers (not save percentage, although he was considerably better in that than Gibson last year, as well as every other metric) than Gibson this year, but has played very sparingly, due to his usual injury and Gibson getting a ton of starts still.
Funny looking at his games played and starts this year. He's played 15 games this year, but he's only started 8 of them. That's how often Gibson gets pulled. MAYBE Dostal got pulled in one of those games, but I think they've all been Gibson getting the yank.
Stolarz came in for the 3rd last game after Gibson allowed 6 on 36 in the first 2 periods and he stopped all 16 shots in relief.
