I have a story about Bobby Hull I have to share. He came to the town I live in now for an Old Timers game, event and Signed a Bobby Hull Winnipeg Jets card for me. As he was doing that I told a little boy about the Legend of Bobby Hull, how he was the Father of the Golden Brett and how Bobby used to shoot the puck so hard he'd put the puck through the boards...the boy was Awe-struck and bewildered and Bobby was giggling, smiling ear to ear as the story unfolded and told. Bobby was a class act for all fans young and Old

I hope when some people in this thread die that people speak as harshly about you as some as you have about Bobby.

RIP Bobby. Thanks for your contributions to the game of hockey.
If they do the things he did off the ice, I would agree they should also be spoken harshly of.

Great hockey player is all you can say if you're only allowed to say nice things.

Looking at his stats now. In just over 1000 games in the NHL, he scored over 600 goals. He may have indeed reached 800 if he stuck around for the nine seasons he was in the WHA.

Also, I had no idea that he ever played with Gordie Howe, albeit for only 9 games in his final season.

Immediately after hearing about the death, there's a certain level of classlessness that comes with speaking ill of the dead.

But that's just me. Being a decent people is still part of my life even though it may not have always been a part of Bobby's.

But hey, let the internet know about your character. What do I care?

That would be 7 seasons from 1972-79 and Bobby could have scored 1000 with the right linemates. His WHA scoring totals should be counted it was Major League as much as the NHL was then

RIP. Great hockey player.

I met him when I was 12, got a hat signed and immediately threw it away because he was such a prick

As opposed to you pretending bad people were good and whining about people accurately describing things he did, to show your superior character on the hockey message board.

Yes. He was the definition of class act off the ice. That’s for sure!
