About 3 hours nowAhh I am in O'fallon MO. Was right on the edge of the most powerful part of the storm supposedly. My power flashed and went out for about 5 minutes then came back. How long has yours been out?
I grew up in O'fallon... went to Zumwalt back when there was only 1 Zumwalt. I Think it's called Zumwalt North now. I'm shocked how much that area has grown every time I visit my brotherAhh I am in O'fallon MO. Was right on the edge of the most powerful part of the storm supposedly. I will reply in a direct message.I can distill this topic down for you.
We have evidence that:
1. High cholesterol (LDL-C) is associated with increased atherosclerosis, which is the process by which plaque builds up within the arteries.
2. Saturated fat increases LDL-C in a large percentage of people.
3. We find lots of saturated fat in dairy products and red meat.
The three statements above are well-established. Often times, public health officials and doctors will take premises (such as the 3 above) and deduce that one should limit their consumption of certain foods (e.g. bacon) to avoid cardiovascular disease. However, we do not have direct evidence that eating a particular food (i.e. dairy or red meat) causes increased plaque in people's arteries.
Still running generators herePower just came back on.
I had to reset a couple of clocks, it was truly excruciatingStill running generators here
There’s still buttons missing for me and dark mode is gone. I’ve assumed the site is still partially borked after the calamity over the weekend.I seem to have somehow lost my dark mode but can’t seem to find the way back. Anybody else having the same issue?
That’s kind of what I figured too. There’s still buttons missing for me and dark mode is gone. I’ve assumed the site is still partially borked after the calamity over the weekend.
When I see particular posters, I just scroll past. It’s much easier than the karmic load of an ignore list. Are the ignore lists irrevocably lost? I’m seeing posters I haven’t missed, and mulling giving it all a fresh try.

I moved out here in 1994 and live near Zumwalt West. It's astonishing how much this area has grown in the 30 years we've been here. Progress is good, but I'm not gonna lie, I do miss the fields and farmhouses along Hwy K as compared to all the strip malls today.I grew up in O'fallon... went to Zumwalt back when there was only 1 Zumwalt. Probably depends on when you put them on ignore. Are the ignore lists irrevocably lost? I’m seeing posters I haven’t missed, and mulling giving it all a fresh try.
My sponsorship is gone as well. That damn ads are back.My ignore list appears intact. I am not seeing anyone I would have had on there. I think I might have list my sponsorship though.
