I just....wow. The organization looks amazing from top to bottom now.
It really does. We have 3, even 4 lines that can score. Great defensive core. And an AHL team chalk full of talented prospects.

Armstrong did his homework this summer. Team should be competitive for a very long time.

I think we'll be fine in net one way or another and getting back into the 1st and 2nd rounds in 19 and 21 is peanuts. Easily solvable.

Last Year Army "Stole" the NHL Draft by taking Thomas, trading a bunch of stuff for Schenn, and then drafting Kostin.

This Year Army "Stole" the 1st day of Free Agency by getting Bozak and Perron for solid deals then pulling out a wonderful trade to get us O'Reilly.

The real question is, what will Armstrong steal next?

Obviously the trade deadline is the only trifecta piece missing.

Oh god, could you imagine?

This trade makes the other deals go from looking meh to solid, to looking like great depth adds.

If Army finds a way to fix the goalie situation I’m going to lose my mind.

We have 3 legitimate, dangerous scoring lines. A top-5 league-wide defensive unit. And over $8M available in cap space to fix the goaltending...

Honestly think we're right there with WPG & Nashville for favorites in the West.
Central just got crazy strong at the top.

What I really love is that both those teams are not powerhouse super teams.

Anyone could have won the West the last two years and we saw it play out that way. It remains that way going into next year.

If we can somehow improve in net we will have a great chance to win the West!

I say Karlsson as a joke, but at this point is there anything Army can't do?

Well, I'll be... That's starting to look intimidating down the middle now!

Looks like training camp is going to be pretty intense competition to lock down a spot at RW for the middle six!

So, sorry if this has already been discussed - it's hard to keep up with multiple threads.

Who moves to wing?

Personally, I don't think moving Thomas would be good for his development. On the other hand, I'd prefer Bozak to be 3C and not 2c.

Thoughts?

Something to ponder....

Adding ROR and improving the team will go a long way when it comes time to extending Schenn and Pietrangelo. Huge day today was for the future of the Blues

With ROR and Schenn, Bozak wasnt going to be a 2C
