i could personally care less about the words someone says. its all about the actions they do or make.

Isnt it odd how that was given a penalty but our goalie getting run for the second straight game was not worthy of a PP?
Isnt it odd how they can hold our sticks and skate off with them for 10 seconds, i wonder what would happen if we did that to them.
Isnt it odd how if Mackinnon gets sneezed on, such as say a BABY HOOK like in G2, the avs get a PP?
Isnt it odd how the Avs get power plays in third periods of close or tied games, yet the blues get no such luck and there was PLENTY of things to be called in the third last night including the stick grab mentioned above.

We absolutely must go into the next game with cool heads, and with a single-mindedness for a win, and nothing else. We know the Blues take a lot of BS from around the league, but so do a lot of other teams.

The offense, or the remainder of it needs to come alive. We cannot have ROR, Perron, and Kyrou shoulder the burden alone, when our scoring was so deep during the regular season. The Russians need to find some way to break through and have a big night one of the next two games. Thomas so far in the playoffs is verging on permanent MIA status; we need him to be the top offensive C that we all thought he could be. If he still sleep walks through the next couple of games, we may need to reassess his future with the organization, since he would not be able to be relied on in critical moments.

Yes, I resent the notion that just because he managed to pull it off in a manner that has no chance of supplemental discipline this one instance, we are supposed to ignore his entire history of work and give him the assumption of best intentions.

I’m not sure how much intent Kadri had there, but I don’t see how it matters. If you barrel into the crease and bowl over the goalie, that should be a penalty. It doesn’t matter if you didn’t mean to. I’m certain that if it had been Keumper ahead of him that the collision wouldn’t have happened.

I hope this turns into a ‘hand pass’ moment, where the team rallies around it and Colorado looks back on it as their high point. I am less certain the Blues can play the game they need to play to have the advantage in Binnington’s absence. We could sure use Husso’s best. Also the Avs are a lot better team than San Jose was (who were pretenders).

Tonight looks pretty much like a must win, where I’m sitting. I expect Colorado to get the favorable officiating in game 5. You can’t leave it needing 3 straight wins with 2 in Denver.
