Extremely disappointed in several Blues posters celebrating Girard being hurt. Absolutely embarrassing. Really making the decent Blues fans/posters on here look bad. You guys know who you are, and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
As someone who had a cracked sternum before and know a fraction of the pain he's going through makes my stomach churn.Extremely disappointed in several Blues posters celebrating Girard being hurt. Is it ok if we limit our virtual violence to KITH Headcrushing?Extremely disappointed in several Blues posters celebrating Girard being hurt. Absolutely embarrassing. Really making the decent Blues fans/posters on here look bad. You guys know who you are, and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
Good news. They’ll get to the bottom of “Watergate” and justice will be served.
THIS is it in a nutshell. The main reason why The Blues were competitive with The Avs in Game 2 and the first 6.5 minutes of Game 3 was Binner's getting to The Avs' dump-ins quickly, and getting an outlet pass to one of his forwards or a defenceman fairly far up ice, so they avoided severe pressure by The Avs' forecheck, and, in addition, could start the rush (sometimes gaining a odd-man advantage as a bonus), and setting up good scoring chances and an extended time in the offensive zone. That was a key to The Blues being able to develop some offence, at all, rather than ending up tiring out in their own end, trying to fend off The Avs' relentless forecheck, and eventually giving up the puck, tiring out more racing around trying to follow the puck and defend, and eventually giving up a goal, or having to take a penalty, or tiring out more after several icing calls, and having our defenders having to stay out on the ice for ridiculously long shifts while playing continuously refreshed Avs fivesomes. Binngton's ability to be The Blues' 3rd defenceman by playing the puck and The Blues avoiding Colorado's smothering forecheck is really the key to The Blues' only chance to produce enough offence, and to avoid being exhausted for the entire 2nd and 3rd periods, after playing in their own Zone the whole 1st Period. Even when Husso is in his absolute top regular season mode, The Blues will need him to retrieve The Avs' dump-ins and get the puck up ice to his open teammates, to have a decent chance in the remainder of this series. The problem is that Husso is not a great passer, and is not as poised and calm as he'd need to be under a lot of pressure. I'm not confident that Husso can play well enough for The Blues to avoid 2 more Avalanche wins, especially with The Avs getting 2 more games at home. The Blues tire easily playing desperately in their own zone a whole 1st Period in that thin air, especially having less than 48 hours in that air to adjust to it.I hope there are no more injuries on either team first an foremost. The biggest thing for me is our breakouts. Binnington was a huge reason why we could shut down the Avs forecheck and Husso isn't as good as Binnington in playing the puck.
Very happy for him. He will energize this team.
If they run Husso, we will need Charlie.Energize em from the bench
The maximum fine is $5000 for ANYTHING. That will be the obvious conclusion here.Watch him get fined more than Spurgeon got for his cross check to Buch.
Not joking.
He's going to get finedJust heard about Binnington. Just shitty news with how well he was playing. Hopefully he has a speedy & full recovery.
Yes we don't need to focus on hurting others. We need to focus on winning this series.Any further further posts calling for injuries to opposing players will dealt with warnings and further sanctions. My patience, and that of the Admins that have had to intercede on this board, is at an end.
Chuckie and Husso should have been the goalies for this season with the way Binner was playing. I have faith in both of them but especially Chuckie. We will rally around Ville Husso and play good hockey.
In all seriousness, as frustrating as it is they need to move past this if they want to win this series. It certainly just got a lot tougher, given how Binnington was playing and his ability to distribute, but it is still possible if they play their game and don't go chasing big hits. The best retribution they could get would be to win this series, just focus on the next game and what they need to do.
LOL Kadri is such a drama queen. And his little don king type promoter/spokesman is just as pathetic. Puck Daddy should retire already, imagine writing garbage like this as a job.Getting crazy....press doing their part to amp it up....

So Kadri is now the victim?
And Berube is a racist along with STL fans?
And Binny is a violent offender with water bottles?
You can't make this shit up. I just saw this story reported during the Calgary/Edmonton intermission.
The media can go get F___ed.
Kadri can go get F___ed.
I'll say it again...may that desperate organization in it's current form never touch the Cup.
Kadri's camp is bringing up what Berube supposedly said on ice from 1997?I mean there is no video evidence of the throwing of the bottle so how can they fine him? Gonna take the word of the fake news media? I wouldn't.
So Kadri's camp is bringing up what Berube said on ice from 1997? Seriously?
