There was that one shift he just dominated possession and that pass to Vatrano, wow. Vatrano could have had a hat trick in this game, btw.
Have you ever noticed that if Miller blows a play BAD that results in a goal, he goes out not long after and either scores or sets up a goal? I swear, it's almost like clockwork. He almost always redeems himself.

I find it funny that Pavel Buchnevich, the poster is seen as a great talent evaluator by fans of other teams. Dude said Miller will be another Sean Day.

I wonder what happened to him? Haven't heard from him in a while. I know he was polarizing but I did enjoy reading some of his prospect updates...good or bad.

I think a lot of it is confidence. He knows he's defensively sound. I think as his experience grows as does his comfort level, you'll see more points.

I dunno man. McDonagh is pretty damn good and didn’t have Fox and potentially Lundkvist ahead of him in terms of offensive usage.

If he gets traded, I could potentially see him being like a 30-35 pt guy on a more shallow D, but I don’t see the usage to turn him into
McD in NYR.

Seems like a pretty high ceiling. I love Miller, but I don’t see him suddenly turning into a 40 pt D especially if he sticks with the Rangers.

40 points now is not 40 points in 2015, I don't see why he can't hit that. I think Brady Skjei had close to that in his rookie year when the league was far less scoring. I know one year and a 40 point defensemen are two different things but still.

As I stated above I just don’t see him getting that type of usage on the Rags. Maybe Fox gets injured some year and he gets the shot tho.

McDonagh got most of his points at even strength anyway. Lundkvist might not even be long for this team.

I wouldn’t attribute it to some kind of “3D chess” by Drury, but playing a bit short handed for three months has helped make the team resilient and flexible. And then bolstering the te at the deadline seems to have turbo boosted the energy. They were flying today. Not saying it’ll stay this way but they looked as strong and confident as I’ve seen a Rangers team look in a lonnnnng time.

I know there was a lot of heat on these boards for Gallant taking Laf off the first line, but this game showed how much balanced the lines are by doing so. The lines looked great tonight top to bottom.

Want to mention Miller as well, this guy is reallly starting to assert his force all over the ice, hes going to be a great player
Yep. Being “on the third line” is not a good thing when the third line is spare parts. But when the third line is strong, it’s actually a huge advantage because opponents are occupied with the Mika and Panarin lines. That’s a huge difference and also it could mean secondary scoring starts to legit materialize.

I feel like early on in the season the third line had Chytil, Laf, and Gauthier, and as bad as Gauthier is he has his uses. They played well briefly but fizzled out because at the time Chytil and Laf weren't playing nearly as well as they are now.

By the way guys, Sam Rosen is still going strong.

Lots of shit talked about him the last few years which was mostly because of calling so many games from the studio- where he can't see as well at the periphery.

We've had a lot fewer missed calls from Sam this year.
