I know there was a lot of heat on these boards for Gallant taking Laf off the first line, but this game showed how much balanced the lines are by doing so. The lines looked great tonight top to bottom.

Want to mention Miller as well, this guy is reallly starting to assert his force all over the ice, hes going to be a great player
This board overreacts to everything. They are on pace for about 110 points. Gallant is going to finish top 3 In Jack Adams award voting and he has already won the award with Vegas when he took that expansion team to the SCF. People saying he should be fired don't have a clue.

I don't even know who to vote for, honestly. Sure Zib had a sick points night, Shesty was solid, etc etc, but that might be the best team game we've played all year. I didn't even want to kill Nemeth!

SOLID team win. We do that every night and we win cups.
Yes solid team effort but that was a HUGE game for Zibs , and not just points. His effort was incredible, I can't remember a bad shift. Kreider was pretty good with him of course . KAD and Trouba were perfect together. The new guys looked good as did Laffy and Chytil . So many positives to mention from this game.

Nope. I refuse to believe this is the real Rangers. They were imposters.

No way the real Rangers can pass that well.

Did they practice passing this week?

They completed more passes this game than the entire season.

We were actually a fun team to watch tonight.

This cant be our Rangers. Nope. Not getting my hopes up.
😜

I'm convinced we will always be weak at 6d because of the "need" to play a vet. Maybe Braun gets a chance and plays well but not sure how two Right D will perform when the pace of the playoffs start? Sure I would love to see a Schneider-Jones but it's never gonna happen
that's really most teams...tehy usually don't have a super strong 3rd pairing that can take hard minutes against the other teams best or something

Reaves is playing game 1 of the playoffs regardless of the opponent, IMO
look at our lineup. Add Kakko + Rooney. Reaves in game 1 is not a certainty.

Panarin
Zib
Kreider
Strome
Copp
Vatrano
Lafreniere
Chytil
Kakko
Goodrow
Rooney

those 11 are arguably locked in if the team is healthy.

pick one of
Motte, Reaves, Hunt, Gauthier, Brodzinski, McKegg 🤢

We're one Nemeth away from being the greatest hockey team ever assembled.

Oh btw folks, fcking Carl from summer house was at the game wearing a Crosby jersey. And i hated it, and gave him the stink eye. The fact i was wearing a faux fur coat and it was in the bathroom didn't help matters

I don’t even think 5-1 tells the story of how hard the Rangers dominated that game. They were just rolling four lines and dominating all night.

Everyone was outstanding tonight. But K’Andre in particular stood out with some amazing defensive plays. He was very “human eraser”-esque tonight.

Not even close. In fact I muttered that very sentiment to myself. The score in no WAY dictated how thoroughly we dominated that game.

Miller is just SO good. To think he's just a little baby NHL defenseman. Just unreal talent on his end.

The best part? Shesty didn't have to be literal god in net for us to win. He was there when we needed him and literally everyone else did the rest. Just goes to show what happens when even our "skill" guys play with some snarl. I'm not trying to get too high on one game, but if Turk wasn't in the locker room after this one simply saying "Boys, do that night in and night out and we win cups", then I don't know what he's doing!
