Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. It seems we let him down that way, he wants involvement to stay 100% sharp. NYR played too good for him to truly shine. What a weird problem. What a statement game.
BTW, I love Shesterkin's moxie. He has the worst misplay with the puck of his career so he comes back with a breakaway pass and clear. Like it was a total FU to the Pens.

Do we know yet if it is possible for Blais to be back in the playoffs? He would be a tremendous add.
BTW, is there any question that Mika and a second for Brassard has supplanted McDonagh for Gomez (and whatever else was in that trade) as the greatest trade in Rangers history. McDonagh had that one great season but wasn't the player Mika is.

Trading for Messier is still the greatest trade in franchise history, IMO. Certainly the most important.

I think part of it is that he just doesn't give a shit that it's Crosby. And that annoys Crosby since he knocks it off his stick like anyone else.

Yeah, I forgot about that trade, I was a kid at the time and wasn't a Rangers fan.
But it's officially a better trade than the McDonagh trade. Only thing that McDonagh trade has going for it is that Gomez wasn't as good of a player for us as Brassard.

All jokes aside that Gaborik FA signing was a monster. Scored over 40 goals for us twice, then got traded for Brassard who was a beast for us especially in the playoffs and then that turned into Mika.
I didn’t get to watch the damn game. Looks like we had a good night though

Gaborik, Richards, and Gomez were all pretty good free agent signings ex post facto, on account of we managed to get rid of all three at about the exact time that they stopped being worth their AAVs on their contracts.
Watching Gabby win the cup with LA hurt, but he was a middle six scoring specialist at that point, not a first line star player.
