The doghouse
I'm not sure if it's possible to keep Hines with his cap hit - but those two plus a thumper on a rookie deal would make for a solid committee.

Nothing against Singletary as a player - but there should be no thoughts from anybody here as regards extending him.
At his *current* cap hit!

I’m very glad Cole Beasley is gone.

Just a random thought after clicking a twitter trending topic.
I can't wait for Cole to tweet out that he's glad he's not in Buffalo while the SB parade is happening.

Big "I'm better off without my amazing ex who dumped me" vibes right there.

I could say a lot about Irving and Beasley, but I'll refrain.

I will say- Beasley was awesome when he first got here. 2019 was a special year. You could see the team was finally heading in the right direction. Beasley was a player Allen leaned on a lot. And, of course, John Brown was awesome, too.

Sucks that Beasley is souring his reputation for me, but he'll slowly fade into obscurity. I'm not nearly as emotionally triggered now that he's off the team.

I loved Beasley as a player. Very tough slot receiver who put himself in danger to make big catches.

His off the field stuff, while obviously not on the same level a lot of the criminals we have in the league, put the team in a position where he became a distraction and players were answering questions about his tweets rather than the next opponent.

I will say, replacing Beasley from the slot was not as easy as many said it would be. I have not loved McKenzie there this year
Beasley was/is totally under rated - I've argued that point here many times. A lot of you guys took him for granted & even twisted some of his positives into negatives.

I think McKenzie is OK but he's not Beasley... I'd like to see Shakir get more of a look towards the end of the season to be honest... We'll need guys contributing on rookie contracts moving forward & he could be one of them...

If we're missing Poyer, Milano, and Miller- then this game is obviously going to be a lot tougher. The Jets defense is going to be HUNGRY. Theyre at home, playing to stay relevant in the playoff race, well coached, and play FAST.

Im grateful Wilson hasnt taken the next step, or else NY would be a problem.

I would be more worried about the defense if it weren't for two important things:

A) The defensive depth has been tested throughout the season so far. For instance, this won't be the first game without Hyde and Poyer in the lineup. And this is still an elite defense even with all the injuries that they have had to deal with.

B) They are playing a team with a QB who has yet to figure things out.

Jets are worse than Miami and don't have a 20-degree Fahrenheit advantage. Would take another two injuries on D and Diggs/Dawkins/Morse being out for me to start to worry. In fact, it's supposed to be sunny and warm Sunday, might skip most of this auto-win and grill some meats

Looks like they’re wearing blue on blue again for this game. I don’t mind it, but the traditionalist in me likes the blue on white or the white on white. Seems like more and more teams are going with the monochrome looks this season.

Honestly, that interview makes me feel even more confident that he will NOT sign with buffalo.

At the end of the day, it will be a business decision. And that decision will be to make more money with a different team on a multi-year deal, rather than play 3rd fiddle on an elite bills offense.
