After ZP and Suter's contracts go bye-bye, what will the excuse be as to why they can't sign a premiere player here? BG wanted to move away from the "retirement community" mentality that had widely been here, but I don't see how that is going to change when they still have these "key players" that are well north in their late 30's and their best playing days are definitely behind them.

Hell in 2 years this team is collectively that much older.

He got rid of one retirement community and created a different one in the process.

Yes, towards the iceberg
Strangely fitting, since the Wild are coming off two 100 point seasons and were pacing for ~110 the year before. In fact, if we allow the shortened season to count as a 100 point season, then 6 of the past 9 iterations of the Wild were 100 point teams, and they were at 98 the year before that run.

Took long enough to find an iceberg, I'm a little surprised they didn't find one sooner. I'm still not convinced they won't accidentally veer wide.

My point on Stay the Course was implied that I'm giving Dean the benefit of the doubt if he had the extra $14M in game changing players, our record would be a lot different and the conversations her would be a LOT different.
