Rangers should have a different looking team Sunday. If not they will after they lose to Nashville Sunday
Let's put Shesterkin in for that game and make sure they lose.

Mika was good tonight. He’s much better suited on the wing long term and he’s playing with a newfound energy on a line with guys who care.
Contract over merit
How is Cuylle not out there
Zibby was trash on his own accord. Many nights where he was our worst forward.I think it's more about being with decent players, Kreider has been holding him back for a while now.
And again, bobby Clarke said he ran the worst training camp he had ever seen (part of that was the conditioning demands of his players, go figure)It's not baffling. Laviolette has consistently made poor decisions this season. This is the guy that the Caps sent packing.
Can we not just once take a kid who is supposed to have top six upside and staple him to - if not having a good year, at least a veteran with good character - Trochek with Laf on the other wing (they could end up being linemates for years) and just let him play 15 minutes and get his legs moving and be involved in an NHL game and not on the bench for 53 minutes of it? Maybe he provides some spark. Instead he’ll play 7-11 minutes of mostly nothing minutes, unless he gets lucky. Just because Brodz and Rempe had a good game does not mean they’re likely to repeat it.
We have a bevvy of new nicknames for Laf.Passenger princess
I still have reservations about the value of goaltending even at Hank's level, but at least he somewhat justified it by being head and shoulders above other goalies. Igor isn't.The degree to which @SnowblindNYR was almost always wrong about Lundqvist is directly proportional to the degree to which he’s almost always right about Igor.
We're back to goalie blaming and not holding the defense accountable for letting a player walk right down the middle untouched, shoot, score, still untouched.
This was Laviolette with Connor McMichael in Washington. He is incapable of changing opinions on guys midseason. How cuylle continues to not be elevated in bigger roles and situations is baffling. The kid does everything and works hard all the time. Why would you reward him and use him for a positive example?
Stamkos had an entire second career on a move to wing.Mika was good tonight. He’s much better suited on the wing long term and he’s playing with a newfound energy on a line with guys who care.
He would make the vets pout and cry. They get first dibs on everything Including ice time. LmfaoHow cuylle continues to not be elevated in bigger roles and situations is baffling. The kid does everything and works hard all the time. Why would you reward him and use him for a positive example?
Yeah because scoring 2 goals against the Leafs is a winning formula.Team played well enough to win. Lost because their goalie was really good and ours was really bad.
Lundqvist justified it with his consistency. You knew that almost every single night your goalie was going to be the best goalie on the ice. That over a season, you'd get a goalie who would literally always be a top 5 performer. You could set your watch to him.I still have reservations about the value of goaltending even at Hank's level, but at least he somewhat justified it by being head and shoulders above other goalies. Igor isn't.
He got paid. He doesn't give a shit. Takes after the vets and leadership here. Get rid of the soft core mentally weak players on this team. They won't have enough to fill a roster unless they call up the Wolfpack2 pts in his last 10 for Laf. Goalless in 7 straight (after going goalless in 13 earlier in the season).
It's time to watch on from the press box for a game or 2
