Came here to write this. This game is underrated for this category as it was a nonconsequential regular season game but, it really stands out to me as one of Henrik's best performances.

From the more significant games, game 4 against Washington in 09.

-JD 79 vs. Islanders

-Beezer pretty much the entire 86 season (even though he had a high GAA he won the Vezina, that team was a bunch of depth players and rookies it would make this year's Vegas squad look like the Red Army) and Game 6 vs. Washington in those playoffs

-Richter pretty much all of from January 1990-playoffs against the Islanders

-Richter Game 6 and 7 ECF 94 and SCF Game 7

-Richter vs. Devils Round 2 97

-Any Lundqvist Game from October 2005....actually any Lundqvist game from that regular season

-Lundqvist Games 1-2 vs. Washington 2009 Round 1

-Lundqvist Game 7s vs. Ott/Wash 2012, Wash 2013, and especially Pittsburgh 2014 which might be his best game ever

-Lundqvist ECF Game 6 vs. Montreal 2014

Yeah definitely. I’m just glad I’m not the only one who remembers the Vancouver game!

When Lundqvist went back to back shutouts in game 6 and game 7 to complete the comeback against the Caps in 2013 is dear in my heart

No way I'd put game 6 vs. Montreal in the ECF, the Rangers just shut them down and Lundqvist had to make one great save. I also think Lundqvist was far better in game 6 of the 2013 series against Washington. I feel like you just go by importance of game and not as much goaltending performance.

I remember thinking that before we lost due to Drury scoring with 7 seconds left in game 5 against Buffalo in 2007 that that was his best game every. Though of course that was only his second season.

We’ve lost generations of memories: Davey Kerr, Chuck Rayner. I grew up hearing stories of Gump Worsley stopping enormous numbers of shots during the 1950s and early 1960s playing with terrible Ranger teams.
Writer: Gump, which team in the NHL gives you the most trouble?
Gump: The Rangers.

I spent a decade as a season's ticket holder with Eddie Giacomin. Although I can't recall any games in particular, they were certainly many.

JD in 1979 against the Islanders....yes.

But the best by far was Richter in 1994, especially against the Devils in games 6 and 7. Never forget that Richter twice eliminated the Devils and Marty Brodeur in overtime games. His performance in 1997 might even have been better than 1994. And of course, the signature moment for any Ranger goalie: stopping Pavel Bure on a penalty shot during the finals.

Yes, Tawnos.....Richter in the final of the 1996 World Cup against Canada: it is impossible for a goalie to be better than that.

Lundqvist: certainly to many to name both during the playoffs and the regular season: I remember one December game against the Stars in Dallas that was simple unworldly.

But for me, it is hands down, Richter in 1994. Until a Ranger goalie wins the proverbial "last game of the year," it will always be Richter.
