#2 among QB's?

Because if it's for overall draft that is nonsense as usual from ESPN

Just looking at stars from that 1st round you have several clearly better and more impactful players and others who it can be debated on

WR Ja'Marr Chase
WR Jaylen Waddle
WR Devonta Smith
TE Kyle Pitts
QB Trevor Lawrence
LB Micah Parsons
CB Patrick Surtain II
LT Rashawn Slater

Lol.

Explain to me with that list why Fields is #2 in any re-draft?

1,000+ receiving rookie year as TE was amazing performance and he has established himself as among best TE's in NFL

Playing with crap at QB doesn't change reality he is great player

Fields is setting NFL records for QBs. Please find me a single player in that list who comes close to doing that at their respective position. And he's done it on a absolutely garbage team with very little support.

I was one of Fields most vocal critics out of OSU and I have done a 180. He's great.

The Bears staff has fixed a lot of his issues out of college which is surprising af. Fields was always immensely talented but I didn't trust the Bears org to fix his issues.

I did a poor job of explaining it on draft day, but my issue with the Bears drafting him was more about the lack of faith in the Bears to develop him than Fields himself. Tools were there.

Like for example, Fields footwork is still f***ed to the point that he can't complete a WR screen. I think he'll have that cleaned up by next season though.

They've already significantly cleaned up his throwing motion and forward passing footwork.

JF was NFL inaccurate until he got comfortable in Getsy's offense and had quite a few NFL games under his belt.

At least the Bears will influence the playoff seedings. Their last 3 games are BUF, DET, and MN.

Do you think Justin Fields is an elite quarterback?
He'll likely finish with like 2500+ yards passing, 1200 yards rushing, 12 rushing TDs, 18-20 passing TDs, on an absolutely abysmal team that is bottom 3 in the league, with what was one of the worst offensive lines in the league for the majority of the season, having been sacked/hit more than every other QB in the league. Setting multiple NFL records despite all that. All this with basically a season and a half of NFL games. Yeah, I'd say he's elite, honestly. Obviously we need to see him consistently do this, but those stats put him in the "elite" category, IMO. Not even sure how it can be argued otherwise.

How many elite quarterbacks do you feel are in the NFL?

Why not just say what you want to say instead of asking a bunch of questions?

You do that a lot.

To answer, probably 4-5? Half a dozen at most. I'd say your top 6 or so QBs in the league in stats are probably what can be considered "elite" QBs. Guess it depends on your definition of elite. By the standard definition, I'd put him in a select group of players with superior abilities compared to most QBs in the NFL. And not think twice about it.

Lol what is it that I want to say?

Can’t imagine playing in that weather today. They’ll be freezing their nuts off. Wind will feel like daggers. Field will be hard as cement.
