Jay cutler could make every throw, just happened to be a born loser.I'm a Field's fan. I saw a couple of throws last year no Bears QB since Eric Kramer could have made but he obviously needs coaching and some better teammates. I did NOT like his demeanor on the bench before Roquan's Int.
I’m sorry but the receiver slows down and doesn’t cut but kind of angles slightly when he looks back for the ball.
I don’t know if that’s a bad pass or a bad route.
It’s easy to blame Fields and this might be on him but there is a reason only 1 bears WR and 1 bear TE would make a roster of the other 31 teams.
Fields said post game yeah he had EQ but Kmet was his 1st read and said he sailed his throwShouldn't that receiver be waving for the ball or at least kinda acting like he's about to look back for the ball if the play has any sort of design for him to be involved in it? I swear these stat geeks are watching a different game because it looks like that receiver is more likely to run to the locker room than look for a pass, but let's get mad at the QB not going off script and throwing the ball at the back of that guy's helmet just because he's "open".
So he's basically got one or two reads and probably not much beyond that since the line isn't consistently giving him time. Growing pains--he'll either get faster with his internal clock and finding receivers beyond the first two options or maybe not...but expecting it to happen now is silly. He's going to be rough until he gets more time doing this. I still don't understand the point of clown show clips like this other than to show off to 100 followers how they played football before too and can use the lingo.Fields said post game yeah he had EQ but Kmet was his 1st read and said he sailed his throw
Even being not the 1st read you are still a target and he was a better one.
