But other than the defense, offense, and special teams, I thought the Bears looked okay out there!

I think people may have shrugged that game off, but that game is the worst they've looked as a team since... Chargers last season, maybe? That happening on the heels of the debacle that was the last week is bad.

I didn’t watch the second half but apparently it only got worse. That safety punt is hilarious. Had to be on purpose and it’s funny because if that happened to the Bears they 100% wouldn’t be ready to fair catch.

Team quit on the staff. Full facet beat down.

That's literally the game before Sweat was added... think he definitely makes the impact and he's been out.

Though also shows yeah, Sweat was the impact not like Flus improving the D in some way.

They did not take the wrong QB. Stop that nonsense. They have the wrong coaches to developed Caleb.
Daniels is doing well, but he absolutely is on a majority of passing doing 1 read or running. Data trackers have shown he is throwing to his 1st read around 80% of plays. That's just a scary long term result because in the playoffs, those Qbs don't win like that. Now it's early in his career and he passes well on those throws, so he could improve. Or he could go like RG3 or Trubisky and once they get hurt and can't run, they're heavily exposed and can't overcome their vision deficits

Daniels is deadly accurate and has an outstanding deep ball.

Because it's knee jerk reaction at best. You assume Daniels with Waldron/Flus would be as productive as Daniels with Kingsbury/Quinn.
I just go by the eye test. Caleb does not look comfortable and his downfield/sideline throws have been bad.

Yeah? What everest?(meant eyetest... but i like that autocorrect) eye test shows Caleb is not getting a lot of clean clear pockets even with time. The eye test also shows Daniels is often quick to throw or just run.

One of those actually scares me more long term.

True but he’s sailing balls over guys heads. Missing check downs. And look at the 3rd and goal. Throws a bad ball to Allen with DJ wide open and would have walked in

That is on the current coaches. They are not putting Caleb in the best position to succeed. Would not surprise if Caleb is flashing back to last season at USC.

Only the Bears can have the "best situation for a rookie QB" and screw it up.

Matt Eberflus is 0-17 in Sunday road games.

Nobody seems to care.
A thing being posted everywhere for 11 hours ... not sure who nobody is.

That they were 0-16 nobody cared about because nobody was saying that.

If we fail Caleb I'm 100% cashing out and switching teams. I don't give a f***.

If they fail Caleb I’m probably just done with the NFL period. I don’t care enough to switch allegiances and don’t live close enough to any other team to hop on their wagon.

They have all the pieces to fix the roster, but I have little faith they actually will. Probably spend their first round pick on a linebacker or something monumentally stupid.

How about Caleb failing Bears? He hasn't exactly been all that impressive for a supposed franchise caliber QB prospect at #1 overall

He has no time to throw and his OC refuses to call anything but long developing go routes or use a TE. This is basically the Bears blueprint to ruining a QB and we’ve seen it before.

Next step is when we fire the coaching staff a year late and he has to learn an entirely new offense with bargain bin coaches, which I’m sure we’ll see happen in 4 months.

None of this is to say he’s been good the last two weeks. But when he did have time to throw and let plays develop he showed what he’s capable of against Jacksonville and Carolina.

Just look at Stroud. His offensive line has looked awful and so does he now.
