Believe this would be due to an injury to cholach, which would be why Lemieux was needed to play

they already have offered cardwell to one team im told, plus, why would he sit and verling not if they thoght cardwell was the top 02?

I can’t speak on any of that since I have no clue, just was offering some reasoning as to why Lemieux would have to play

its too bad i can only sign into hf boards on my mac these days.. mobile keeps on giving errors. that really hurt my head walking down those stairs with covid.

but i just had to post. i'm calling you out marty. u healthy scratched a player whos capable of averaging 2 points / 68 for ur secret son in law ian lemieux.

did you see him blow a tire not once.. not twice but 3 times. did u see him turn it over twice

give it **explicit** up. this is ridiculous. hes not that good, he looks just like their other defenders. i cannot fathom this.

i actually hope cardwell is traded. he deserves better. should have done it last year while his value was higher instead of caving to all the angry ppl on fb threatening to renew tix.

Congrats to Carter Lowe for getting his first OHL Goal the other night and congrats to Cole Beaudoin for being named to team Black at the 2022 World U17 Hockey Challenge!

Nice to see Cardwell back, Colts are a wicked speedy team now and I really like the mix of size that Beaudoin, Chisholm & Lowe have brought to the lineup.

I am sure Clarke will be back at some point, he is only seeing 10-12 mins/game - I think the Kings would agree a chance to compete for an OHL Championship and potentially a Mem Cup would be better for his development than sticking around with them. I could be wrong though.

Love seeing some of these Sale rumours, that would be an amazing acquisition.

Super stoked about this team, looking forward to Thursday night rematch against the Fish!

Good weekend as far as results in getting 3/4 points. I have some concerns with the B/U goalie West and his confidence level in games he starts. Great to see Jelsma break out from his dismal start.

Barrie still is carrying the 4 OA's and still have not indicated the odd man out. I think Lemieux will receive strong consideration; especially if Clarke sticks in the NHL. Speaking of Brandt he is at the 6 game mark with the ice time averaging between 12-13 minutes a game. Latest comments from LA staff indicate he may get more than 10 games.

If that were the case then Barrie will need to go shopping for a high end PP quarterback. They have the players and a boatload of picks.

Barrie
Two players I wouldn't mind the Colts looking into to upgrade the blueline are Christian Kyrou and Braden Hache. Kyrou had 18 goals, 60 points last year. Gotta think that would help the offense from the Blueline, especially if Clarke isn't back. Hache won't put up a ton of points but he's got good size and should help stabilize things. If Clarke stays in LA they could roll a top 4 of..
Hache-Kyrou
Cholach-Akey
Tiller and Punnett probably best on the bottom pairing. Kavanagh has struggled IMO so far but probably could mix him in as a 7th D.

Kyrou probably the most expensive D on the market. Hed prolly cost you Tiller, 2 seconds, 2 thirds

@Devin we need to talk about what just happened.... 0/8 against a 3rd string goalie. Thought I had Barrie ML +107 as a lock tonight. Punnett and Jelsma looked like they've never had a breakaway in their life with those "moves" tonight. Jesus

Two games in one last night.

The Colts dominated the first half.

The Attack took over the second .

That is not what I saw. I saw dominant play by two colts’ OAs for the vast majority of the game, and an outstanding goaltending performance in the 2nd half, OT, and SO for the Attack.

I suppose that's why the Colts got 3☆ then 🤔.

Those 5 Attack goals must've been flukes 😮

Papais goal was kinda biblical, like the sea parted for him.
Totally agree, that was just terrible.

The Owen Sound boys looked like they were having a lot of fun out there. They even beat us without Barlow...

Going to be a long season if the colts don't learn to back check and pick up trailers, especially when defending a lead 🤦‍♂️

He'll surprise everyone and come back to Barrie with Clarke from the WJC's...lol

Clarke a healthy scratch for the Kings tonight.

Clarke played 9th game with Kings on Tuesday. He's averaging anywhere from 12-17 minutes per night. I think the Kings will keep him up for the season and that is probably best for his long term development in my opinion.

It's about time for Colts to make a move and add some depth to the blue line, Chisholm is not a good option back there. A high end scoring option in the forward ranks wouldn't hurt either.

Clarke a healthy scratch tonight again. LA Kings next game Saturday at home. I guess we'll know then whether or not he stays in the show. Still could be returned like St Louis did with Pietrangelo after the WJC's.

We don't have any words and we know you don't want to hear them. We understand your anger, your frustration, your sadness. Everything you're feeling - we get it. This isn't the ending we imagined, and certainly not the one we wanted. Thank you for being there the entire way.

Regards,

Not the Tampa Bay Lightning

On another note, Clarke staying up with the Kings.

Thats twice now LA has taken a player who could have very easily been returned robbing us of an opportunity. Take Kyle Clifford in 2011.

I hate you LA Kings. I'm glad your team sux.

I took Barrie +230 tonight for 4 units against OTT and will rescind my first complaint if they win tonight
