I missed the first 10min of the KGN game on Saturday - couldn't have been all Westy's fault if the team was down by 3 with less than 10 mins played. Saw the comeback fall short in OT but it was good they clawed back.

Performance not indicative of a team who will do much of anything in the playoffs unless they get better as a team and start on time. Disapointing the Wolves took us to OT on Sunday.

Tough weekend, regroup this week and back to work on Thursday.

I agree let Sam get some games in. Gonna need someone to step up and be a dependable B/U.

Honestly just wish the team made a few more moves for top end forwards at the deadline still think there’s not enough scoring on the team to compete against north bay or Ottawa in round 2. could have used Michaud on the ice dogs or Lombardi on flint or even traded McDonnell and picks for hardie on missy

3 games starting tonight against sub 500 teams which should garner 6 points; however, both Niagara and Oshawa seem to give the Colts a run for there money. Both Vierling( flu like symptoms) and Savard( concussion protocol) should be back. Only 5 points back of North Bay, so 2nd is still obtainable.

He's a great Jr. player. Tough, decent shot, hard working, good leadership and does all the little things right. I'm not sure he'll have the skating for the NHL though. I hope he'll be back next year as an OA and then I hope he gets a shot somewhere.

Nice win at home last night. I thought the Colts were sloppy in the 1st and lucky to come out with lead. Thornton saved their tail a few times, including an in zone 2 on 0!

Clarke looks playoff ready, he is playing a amazing.

Let's hope they come to play Saturday, gotta keep the momentum going.

Not sure why teams even bother doing this useless award. Most times homerism is involved. Petrovsky had a standout game with no recognition.

Attack played a good road game without their best player and gave the Colts fits in the 1st period.

In Windsor Wednesday night Saginaw lost in OT to Windsor. 2nd and 3rd stars were Windsor. 1st star was Smith from Saginaw. He was the star of the game and that is the way it should be portrayed.

Clarke needs to get 3 more goals to set the franchise record for goals in a season by a defenseman. Pretty crazy considering he's only played half the year.

It is interesting you say that. he has been fire! I was saying last week that Mintyukov is probably the best player in the league right now. So effortless. The Ottawa system doesn’t allow him to free roll as much as he did in Saginaw though.

All that said, Clarke’s half season has been crazy Good. It will be interesting to see how the voting pans out with only a half season in the books. Normally I would not consider the player but the numbers are simply too good not to. That +40 is silly.

Barrie has had a light schedule so that has an impact but regardless, the kid still needs to produce and he has.
