Brinson Pashinchuk on 2nd intermission radio. He developed allergy to gluten, diary, Peanuts and almonds. Loss 20 pounds. Totally changed diet. Shopping takes a couple of hours due to all the label reading.

Hopes to be back in lineup this weekend.
Jeeze, I developed gluten allergy and that was hard enough, can't imagine dairy, peanuts and almonds being off the menu too.

Ryan Merkley may have just gotten hurt. Kind of a weird situation.

3-3 game late in the third.

Nollenberger said maybe a skate blade?

edit: Tucson wins 4-3 in a shootout. Emond has gotten better, but he is really not good in shootouts.

At what point will the sharks org care about the Cuda? They just built a new arena, but wont get them a new coach despite being second worst in the league.

No way this team has made a penny this year

Over the last few years the Barracuda have literally changed everything about them from location, branding, jerseys, arena, and so on except for change coaches.

It's just like sharks upper management...while I appreciate everything the current guys have done at both the sharks and cuda levels, at some point a fresh face to give a new perspective is needed.

I know Sommer has his issues and I definitely agree with changing the face behind the bench but I don’t know how much change that will bring. I mean how many times have the Sharks given the Cuda a good roster? For reference, Chicago Wolves have guys like Jack Drury, Josh Leivo, CJ Smith, Ryan Suzuki, Stefan Noesen, Andrew Poturalski, Joey Keane, Jalen Chatfield, Max Lajoie, Alex Lyon, Jack Lafontaine. All those guys could easily be in the NHL, are good AHL players, or are promising prospects. Whereas with the Sharks you got Lane Pederson, John Leonard, Sasha Chmelevski, Joachim Blichfield, Artemi Kniazev, Santeri Hatakka, Ryan Merkley at points, Nick Cicek, and? The other thing is guys like Drury, Suzuki have too 6 NHL potential. If we get another other than a bottom 6, bottom pairing guy out of those I’d be surprised. Most of our top prospects aren’t going through the AHL. I think yes Sommer is for sure at fault and it’ll be good to get a fresh face back there anyway but I don’t think you can fault him as much as some people (not necessarily you) do.

I just have never seen a hockey team fail as much as they do, but maintain all management for so many years.

I haven't posted lineups on here in a while, but to give people an idea, this is what we're rolling out there these days:

Next year, it's going to be interesting how we do with all the new additions.

When you give Sommer a reasonable amount of talent, he's shown that he can get that team to the playoffs. Last couple years, the whole org has been feeling the after effects of the extremely poor 2012-2016 drafting results

We thought the same when guys like Chmelevski, Chekhovich, and Blichfield came. While I have high hopes for the 2020 draft, it’s hard to keep these hopes when the Sharks have let us down so many times.
Well-said. I do think the players coming in have a slightly better reputation than those guys, but we shouldn't be expecting saviors...

With the way Kniazev's playing, seems like he could be the first defenseman on the call up list next year. He's an LD and there's a chance that Vlasic is bought out so that means there could be nights where the defense looks like:
Ferraro-Burns
Knyzhov-Karlsson
Kniazev-Merkley
Meloche

Probably gonna be fun and terrible defensively
