Expect the worst, you’ll never be disappointed.
The Jets are not a wagon. More like a C-17

Anyone who isn’t enjoying this start isn’t a Jets fan. Period….
Seems like a really inefficient way to identify talent...They say that you don't know what you have in a defenceman till around the 250 game mark. Stanley is nowhere near that mark maybe he is a late late bloomer.
Stan just needs time to grow on you... like athlete's footSeems like a really inefficient way to identify talent...

Yup let's bank em while we can!I'm reporting your report.
Pretty good game yet again. Obviously this start can't last but the points they get now will help come April. They're definitely surprising me.
I don't know how the pairings would work, but I'd like to see it. Miller has been fine, but clearly he is what he is ....I thought he was our weakest D the last couple games and that's not even a criticism.I wonder if fleury comes in for Miller next game.

I'm actually quite happy there aren't any threads.I keep peaking on the main boards to see if there's any threads about us being 12-1.
Nothing (that I can see at least).
I kind of like flying under the radar.
Yep just go about your game.I'm actually quite happy there aren't any threads.
People can see where we are in the standings.
No need to blab about it there.
Our results have also killed off threads like:
Who's the best Canadian team?
Who will win the Central?
And so on.
We can be 24-2 and quiet as a mouse.
Nothing to see here.
Stilettos and a lot of chocolate cake.You can’t teach 6’7”, 240 lbs
even if he is, his upside on this team is a 3rd pair dman. 99.9% sure he will never be ahead of Morrissey or Samberg (who i had a bit of a question mark as a 2nd pair Dman coming to this year-but has been fantastic). i don't buy this show-casing for trade narrative that i've seen written here or other places. i think he's a mid 3rd pair LD, which is a dime a dozen player. in my view that should be a rotational spot with Miller being the mainstay on the 3rd pair. They say that you don't know what you have in a defenceman till around the 250 game mark. Stanley is nowhere near that mark maybe he is a late late bloomer.
He was bad last night. He gave the puck away at their blue line which led to a breakaway.I don't know how the pairings would work, but I'd like to see it. Miller has been fine, but clearly he is what he is ....I thought he was our weakest D the last couple games and that's not even a criticism.
There is actually the biggest surprise teams thread which is all about the jets in the main forum.I'm actually quite happy there aren't any threads.

High praise from @sipowicz!Jets a pretty okay team!
Nino scores goals
Helly money
Ottawa 26 points in their first 14 games of 2007-08 is the best start apparently so we can tie that Thursday night.Just did a little googling for "best starts to NHL season" and the Jets tear this year is getting to the point where it's one of the better ones in league history. This is truly special. I'm glad that most of us are enjoying it

One of the better books to come out of the Golden Age. Too bad they made it into such a shi!!y movie.
