It just never felt like Hellebuyck was going to let a goal in tonight because he was so dialed in. The power play is still impressive and the penalty kill got it together again.

The only negative is Connor saw his impressive point streak end.

They won a game that by all accounts they should've won, they came out flying, and played excellent defensively throughout.

After the excitement of the victory and the amazing Helle performance, the bizarre incompetence of the referees has to be addressed. Goalie interference, high sticking bordering on beheading, holding the stick ... when these are so obvious to the impartial observer, you have to start pointing the finger at the NHL administration.

I'm too wired to go to bed after a game like that, but I'm sure almost any other channel tonight can bring me down.

4/5 Skeletons tonight. The winning continues and how about that a shut out for Helle. Nino 900 games 2 goals, Cappy with 2 apples. 4th line still good. KFC streak done. I think Vilardi is starting to heat up. Overall a solid but no spectacular game, but hey any way you get the points to add to your points makes it a good night. Lets get that playoff monkey off our back on Thursday.

I actually thought the crowd would be smaller tonight. 12,932 in the barn tonight. If this club had another 1.5k season tickets nobody would be talking about attendance. I expect a big crowd on Thursday.
