His contract is insured. Most teams don’t do the full amount, including Vancouver… but assume the majority is covered. Is the insurance paying for Poolman?

What the f*** is a pool man
It's for when a pool boy is not enough for your wife. What the f*** is a pool man
I've been asking Vancouver beat writers (as a Canucks fan) for awhile now if Poolman's contract is insured and no one had the answer.Likely that Branstrom is a nothing in this.
Vancouver paid a 4th to unload an injured guy.
Colorado monetized their LTIRed situation and apparently even generated cap space out of it. So they got paid a 4th, to increase their cap space, that's actually quite fantastic. Seems like their only downside is they have a greater real cash salary to pay. So if I'm getting this right, the cheap ass Avs owner have accepted to shell out cash in order to acquire an asset and cap space. Interesting...
I think you are onto something. #KroenkeischeapI've been asking Vancouver beat writers (as a Canucks fan) for awhile now if Poolman's contract is insured and no one had the answer.
If Poolman's contract is insured, than the Avs might actually be paying less in real cash. Branstrom's contract is one way and would be owed NHL money even in the AHL.
I wonder the amount retained by the Canucks is the exact amount that saves the Avs real money vs keeping Branstrom lol.
Vancouver waived him after the trade alsoBoy they must've REALLY not liked Brannstrom!
Ah well, I figured he was kind of a bust when the Sens didn't keep him around, but was hopeful he'd showcase some skills with the Avs. Oh well.
I’ve only seen snippets of games and stuff, but he looked horrible the little bit I saw of him.Boy they must've REALLY not liked Brannstrom!

It's obviously not, but that layout is so much nicer (because it's a copy from CapFriendly lol) than puckpedia. No idea if it's just as good, but I recently found this cap friendly alternative.
I still wish PuckPedia would go back to their NHL Numbers format. That was so much easier to read, even superior to Cap Friendly's layout. It's obviously not, but that layout is so much nicer (because it's a copy from CapFriendly lol) than puckpedia.
Everything is lining up for that to happen too!Hope so, Girard sucks
Looks like they 100% copied the CF format. No idea if it's just as good, but I recently found this cap friendly alternative.
He doesn't actually know. But why does he suck?
I couldn't really tell the difference, but the only thing I ever used cap friendly for was quick looks at salaries and basic trade tests. It's obviously not, but that layout is so much nicer (because it's a copy from CapFriendly lol) than puckpedia.
He heard we had a lot of “blue chippers” in the lineup and stuck around thinking he was getting fancy nachos. How Rudo got a job covering hockey I’ll never know.
His shot is horrible, can’t clear front of the net, he’s just short and badBut why does he suck?
No need to bring up what the ladies are sayin' about you at the local watering hole.just short and bad
