Avs trade Annunen and 2025 6th for Scott Wedgewood (NSH)

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Astounding that Justus has maintained a .901 Sv.% and 2.95 GAA in 16 games since the trade for a team that lousy.

No complaints about Wedgewood, even though I literally did have some sharp critiques about his previous start
Honestly after Wedgewood's first couple of starts, I figured he was the new starter and Georgiev would be on his way out.

Pretty happy that MacFarland wasn't content with just Wedgie though... Blackwood is an absolute gamer as well.

Both of these guys are big, more or less very sound positionally. Might not have the pure athleticism of a prime Varly or even Georgiev, but neither will ever quit on a play. I have absolutely loved the compete from both of these guys since they've arrived. They more or less do exactly what everyone here has said our goal-tending needed to do... simply give the team a chance to win. They don't have to go out and literally steal games frequently... they just can't afford to be the reason why we lose many games.
