Good thing he has a cup though. I wouldn’t wanna be near Nate if he didn’t have the cup and lost Mikko. Imagine how mad he would be LOL.At least he can focus on something else than regular season trophies

Someone should kick Bednar in the perbix. That would wake him upBoth MacK and Bednar need to wake the f*** up. Yeah we lost Rants but there's a reason for that and it involves something neither of you bozos control. Go out there and win the games. That's all you should be thinking. Fire Bednar.
I always thought that name sounded anatomicalSomeone should kick Bednar in the perbix. That would wake him up
The powerplay has been extremely consistentAt least the avs are starting to find some consistency
Eh, sounds like they put a lot of shots on goal but…ya gotta finish and yeah, power play is coming close to setting the wrong kinds of franchise records.
Overall, I agree with the stipulation that there is zero threatening net front presence from this team.Actually while it may suggest that, they passed up a ton of chances, held onto the puck too long, and over passed it.
There is a reason the shot attempts are high, but our actual shots aren't.
There is zero net front presence on this team right now too.
Bednar better realize that his job is close to over. If they were willing to trade 96, then you have to imagine that Bednar's seat is hot. You can't continue to have these shit ass performances. Both MacK and Bednar need to wake the f*** up. I don't think they'll can him that fast. Maybe after a disappointing playoff exit if it happens?Bednar better realize that his job is close to over. If they were willing to trade 96, then you have to imagine that Bednar's seat is hot. You can't continue to have these shit ass performances.
If they lose all 3 on this trip which is likely, is expect him to be gone as well. He's out of answers.

I felt Leokonen got the crap kicked out of him today trying to play in front of the net. Every time the Avs went there, their hockey sticks were not allowed to get anywhere near a loose puck or rebound. They were pretty much forced high in the air by the Bruin's D.
They needed to extend their lead in the 2nd when I thought they dominated play.
The bumper/slot position failed to execute a number of times. Pucks just out of reach or blocked or checked because (as you said), delays in execution.
Lots of Avs shots ranged wide or tried to unsuccessfully thread the needle. I think Swayman was in their head.
Cale was a bit off too. (He took another puck in the same foot that he winced on.)
Avs have a serious need for a more competent 5-6 D pairing. Malinsky and Middleton are not it.
Called it last week.Nate is probably gonna lose the point lead without Mikko. Draisaitl is only 1 point back and Kucherov just 2
I don't think they'll can him that fast. Maybe after a disappointing playoff exit if it happens?
I really can't imagine Sakic is super thrilled at this point. Sakic doesn't like being mediocre. And I don't think he is loving this team or this coach.I don't think they'll can him that fast. Maybe after a disappointing playoff exit if it happens?
YupIt seems like the Avs play frantic hockey at exciting speeds but miss shots and opportunities because they just seem out of control at times.
I hope he does. Im a Mikko fan and I’d like to see him succeedYou just know Mikko will have a 4 or 5 point game tonight, now. LOL
I think the playoffs are problematic too. But not because of Rantanen.this team was mentally fragile even with Mikko. It got 10x worse today. They arent making the playoffs.
BINGO!!!Yeah, Lehhky and LOC drive the net, but they can't hang there and over power anyone. Lehhky got absolutely mawled on the PP and couldn't get anything off.
Nuke and Landeskog allow that low to high create chaos and tips thing to work.
It's completely absent without one of them.

Nishkuskin and Landeskog.
And Bednar's usage of his roster. (It was just few nights ago that the 2nd line of Mitts, Lehkonen and Drouin was on fire. Have them been together since?)
BINGO!!!
I respectfully disagree. The shock and awe will wear off, and hopefully the lack of Mikko will allow it to sink in that ALL of them need to pull more weight. I think they will, but it will be close. First round exit? Maybe. But if Val and Landy make it back, the dynamic and mental toughness changes a lot. I was expecting a loss with the emotional nature of it all (especially Mack). Need some practice and time together to gel. Makar is dinged as well. Wish they all would skip the tournament, but I doubt that happens. The goalkeeping getting fixed is done at least. I still have faith.this team was mentally fragile even with Mikko. It got 10x worse today. They arent making the playoffs.
Yeah and he's honestly not THAT amazing with the garbo goals either. Dude's got no hands but a decent shot. Funny player lolWood actually does bring some net front chaos, but not nearly as dangerous as the obvious two.
