Not unless it's a hockey trade
I think there's plenty of suitors. He should go now. I don't want him here as a third line center if we go for it. Too soft.

They're gonna play 1st round, unless the Avs somehow don't pass Minny.
The true beloved son, not like the hated PJ boyNYI fans should have full protection here now, that's their 1C veteran. It might not be Crosby, but for them that's who he is. Let's act with some respect.
Sure but this is a massive risk and we all know it.
Who else is going to play it? Drury is more suited for #4C on a contender, and Colton isn't even passable as a C in Bednar's system.I think there's plenty of suitors. He should go now. I don't want him here as a third line center if we go for it. Too soft.
You said giving up a 1st and Ritchie is rough. Im asking why is it rough? Its rough if you think Ritchie is the next Dylan Guenther...hes not. Hes likely the next Alex Newhook. Mittlestadt deserves to get traded after tonights game and hopefully he is used in a piece to get the Avs more depth in the bottom 6 or a top 4 Dman. Why what?
I have no issues getting Nelson, or the price we paid, because he’s a perfect fit on our second line.
Mitts isn’t gritty enough to be a third line center. If we are planning on him getting his game back and being our second line center next year, then keeping Mitts is fine. If keeping Brock next year, who is a better fit next to Drouin than Mitts is, then I would want a bigger, better fit, for third line.
If we keep Nelson, there would be no place on this team for Ritchie.
Really hope we keep him on a 2-3 year extension.
I’m not sure why Nelson has to be a rental. Mitts maybe gone tomorrow or trade him in the offseason. We know there are teams who want Mitts. Nelson is 33, it’s not like he’s gonna ask for 10 mill. Mitts will be traded now or offseason and we can re-sign Nelson. The cap is going up significantly the next couple of years
Tbh if you don't protect yourself from risks when going to an Asian spa for a fondling that's on you.Sure but this is a massive risk and we all know it.
I’m feeling Justin Tucker’d out.Tbh if you don't protect yourself from risks when going to an Asian spa for a fondling that's on you.
I mean obviously we make a trade for third line center. I don't rate Mitts to get it done. He will probably sulk more from this trade.Who else is going to play it? Drury is more suited for #4C on a contender, and Colton isn't even passable as a C in Bednar's system.
I remember Manson was certainly going back to Anaheim after we won the cup, but we re-signed him. I think we re-sign Nelson. CMac knows he can’t keep spending assets for a 2C. Trade Mitts, re-sign Nelson. Easy choiceThere are rumours he could go back to Minnesota.
I mean Richie has more size which should allow him to be more than just a slow midget....but yea his lack of skating was a real issue. Not against moving him at all.I have zero issues with this. I kinda wanted them to use a first for another D but it is what it is. People going crazy about losing Ritchie. After I saw him at the WJC I was like this is another Tyson Jost Alex NEwhook stuck in the mud skater.
Who's left? Laughton?I mean obviously we make a trade for third line center. I don't rate Mitts to get it done. He will probably sulk more from this trade.
Sounds like you’re bitching to bitchBro, I don't get paid and I am not going to waste my time on figuring out who that is. Avs know the market, they have trained personnel at all levels, including the insight where players are available or off limits based on rumblings or phone conversations they have had. A lot of teams didn't even know that Lehkonen was available, but Avs got it done.
If that's the case the price is much more fair. Curious if we have extension on table. Our balls certainly are.I remember Manson was certainly going back to Anaheim after we won the cup, but we re-signed him. I think we re-sign Nelson. CMac knows he can’t keep spending assets for a 2C. Trade Mitts, re-sign Nelson. Easy choice
He could be... Either way cost controlled includes his RFA years I like the sound of that while Makar and Mac arent old compared to a 35 year oldRitchie is not going to be a top 6 player while on his ELC. Not on a Cup contender.
I trust the pro scouts trading him away more than the amateur scouts drafting him.He could be... Either way cost controlled includes his RFA years I like the sound of that while Makar and Mac arent old compared to a 35 year old
And you made a whining post about me bitching, so...Sounds like you’re bitching to bitch
Who's left? Laughton?
Sulking Mitts is still a passable #3C. Plus he was kind of ass heading into last year's playoffs and picked it up when it mattered.
And you made a whining post about me bitching, so...
Boeser? On a $3.5M contract?Mittelstadt + 1st
for
Extended Brock????????????????????????
Yah a bigger and just as soft right handed version of Newhook. He lost me after the WJC.I mean Richie has more size which should allow him to be more than just a slow midget....but yea his lack of skating was a real issue. Not against moving him at all.
It’s just rough paying the top asset in your organization and a first round pick for a rental. You said giving up a 1st and Ritchie is rough. Im asking why is it rough?
