Unfortunately a lot of our wins were based in Shesterkin being a brick wall and Kreider being a 50 goal scorer.

I really am disappointed Chytil has not progressed like most of us thought he would.

Yes Chytil’s been in the league for 14 years but really it’s only been 3 when you factor covid and injuries :sarcasm:

Panthers lost to the Sens 8-2, proof that you can't win em' all. Inches away from tying it up at the end.

Mika is actively dragging his linemates down at this point. Terrible contract. Idk why the Rangers always lock up the players who are confidence driven when they need to be targeting players who inspire confidence.

Goodrow is maybe our least effective forward, don't know what he brings for that price point tbh.

Kakko Strome and Panarin were our best forwards, just put them back together already.

Zibanejad has always been a head case. Going back to his early seasons with the Rangers when he'd go one half season cold streaks. He's a guy that goes into slumps he can't come out of. I wouldn't be surprised if that contract is weighing on him too.

His contract can weigh on me all f***ing day. I'll never see that amount of money in my lifetime. I get he's probably still dealing with effects from covid, but at what point do you put him in LTIR and do something. We've got some good piece, but we don't have a team. Even when they were winning, they were pulling wins out of their asses.

Geo was fine. This isn't on him. This is on everyone else, honestly.

Disappointing night.

Really disappointing performance from Panarin. Forcing dumb shit all night.

Can’t lose PP differential 6-2 to that team.

Weird that they finally shoot the puck and go to the net and score a goal. Love Gallant sending Goodrow, Gauthier, Hunt out there with an empty net and an o zone faceoff. Can hope there’s a lesson in there for this group on this, but it’s the big guns who need to learn it.
I knew the ice was tilted but I didn’t realize it was a 6-2 advantage.

It must be quite pleasant being an Avs fan. Downhill race from the get-go.

The 4th line has been rough, I like Reaves, but there’s no reason to play him every night.

Just rotate in Barron, Rooney, Reaves and Goodrow. I know Goodrow is going to play, I just hope he stays on the bottom line, he’s a line killer.

Rangers offense certainly has not been great the last 3 games, including Buffalo. But to look at this game and start writing off this team is so premature and reactionary.

Our offense was generally riding on Kreider's unsustainable hot start. Laf, Kakko and Zib all need to get going

The only way to get out of this is coaching. Kreider-Zibanejad has never been a winning combo. It was always Buchnevich-Zibanejad. Kreider has always had mild point production. He's not a playmaker and he's average at 5-on-5. Hunt is not good enough to play top 6, Blackwell could have, not Hunt. He's energy and grind for the 4th line. You have the entire top 6 killed by that. Very bad coaching by Gallant.

Pump the brakes. The Rangers have been without their best player for 2 weeks and they didn't have him in either game against the Avs.

At least NYCFC won the Cup.

My life is just a constant cycle of my title-winning teams making feel better about the one huge wart on my ass.

I think having Igor in goal gives Rangers more confidence

Don't think confidence was the issue this game. If anything they were over confident. They kept making cross ice passes even when it was painfully obvious the tactic was not working.

The worst part of this game? Kreider had the game tying goal on his stick and just shot it in the goalie's pad. It was a nice save but he has to f***ing bury that.
