I know these dudes are all professionals, so this shouldn't be a problem. But it absolutely HAS to be demoralizing to play in front of this kind of goaltending.

I think they guys have just packed it in completely until something is resolved. I mean... CMac trades for a more reliable backup and the first thing Georgiev does is run out and let in 4 goals on 8 shots. We all say that Nate's got 13.5M reasons to keep trying, but the human brain is simply a confusing mess. I know several atheletes seek a sports pschologists...with the way this season is going, the Avs might want to consider getting a complete outfit on retainer.

Better than this seasons's Georgiev sure. Almost anyone in the league is. But Kuemper wasn't that great when he played with us, and in the last two seasons Georgiev even beats him in save%. The main difference between Kuemper and Georgiev is a 2M extra cap hit.

Keumper actually won the cup with the Avs Geos cooked can't save him.

It's not rocket science. Sabres has an expected goals for of less than 1 goal and he let in 4. It means the goals he let in were not even considered high danger chances.
