Vegas missed the playoffs during their contention window because of injuries. We’re not only dealing with bunch of injuries, but we also have shitty goaltending. No one should be surprised if we really miss the playoffs this year
I mean should the Avs be down? Yea but a decent goalie and this is a 1-0 or 2-0 where the team actually has a chance to come back. A goalie like Fourgiev will sink you.

I find this hard to believe anyone legitimately thinks. At absolute worst you have to feel like the team isn't performing well in front of Georgiev, which I believe you're implying. And if that's the case, given you know how talented this team is, the logical conclusion is they don't trust their goalie anymore and need a new goalie they can rally around.
Georgie is a sieve. They're watching for pucks to squeeck through instead of trusting the save and playing the pass instead of the puck.

Expected goals is how it averages out over time. Inside one game it is not unusual to be below or above the line because scoring is a highly random event.
But we can tell with our eyeballs that Georgiev had a bad night.

Literally, only one of those goals should have went it. The 3rd one. Avs weren't great, but they need someone that can make those saves when they aren't playing their best. He gives them no shot. Every mistake ends up in the net.

That second goal is unacceptable even in junior hockey. Of course the team isn't playing well, but to even insinuate that Georgiev isn't the main problem is bizarre
