It seems we may need some questions for fun. Halloween is fast approaching, so that's the theme.
1) What is the best Halloween costume you ever wore, as a kid or as an adult?
2) Name your favourite Halloween candy and one that you hate.
3) Do you get kids on trick or treat night, how many, what do you give out if you do?
4) Have you ever played tricks on the kids that come?
5) Do you carve a pumpkin, if so, how elaborate? There is nothing so spooky as a lit pumpkin, flickering, on Halloween night!
1. Both in college, either Jesus (went to a Catholic college, it was a hit) or an army man (the green plastic guy, painted & dressed all in green, with a green fake bazooka and green floor mat to strike the pose).
2. Reese's cups. I hate those marshmallow peanuts, though I never seen them anymore, so I'll go with mounds or good & plenty.
3. Been at the house for 3 years now, only got the neighbors kids once before they moved. Still buy candy every year just in case. We're on the main road so I think parents don't want kids going here, much safer neighborhood streets right behind us.
4. Nope. We gave out beers to parents when I lived with friends in Brighton though, was a big hit.
5. Every year I do at least one, the simple triangle eyes / nose + toothy smile. I have little candles for the inside too that I do. It's a tradition my dad used to get us to do but for some reason only my sister & I care (my wife doesn't, her husband and kids dont) so we carve them together and drink wine. Scheduled for Saturday.
