Spent the day at the NH PoutineFest. A gorgeous day with Mrs. 103 and some of our dear friends. So much fun, and lots of amazing poutine. Feeling fat and happy 😊

There was a good amount of Bruins swag on display there, but I don’t think I’m being immodest in saying I was the best dressed guy there 😎

In a related sidebar, since I’m working Sundays at the moment, I went to Saturday evening Mass. While I was there (still wearing my Patrice Bergeron sweater), a young boy who was no older than four and sitting two rows in front of me got his father’s attention, pointed right at me and said, “look! He’s a hockey player!!!”

I couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear at that one.
My two favorite people! Looking great!

I opened a bottle of wine tonight and was fishing around a drawer for a wine stopper. I came up with one that was a favor from my bridal shower 10+ years ago.

I was reminded about how my (very religious) mother in law (God rest her soul) wanted to have no alcohol at my brunch bridal shower, and a piano player. My bridal party wanted open bar.

My mother and maid of honor giggled and said “ok that’s great we’ll do the piano but Katie won’t come if there’s no booze”. They agreed on a piano player, house mimosa and cash bar.

Bless them. Compromise is king.

It used to be.

Perhaps it's making a comeback.

I watched the Woodstock ‘99 documentary on Netflix last night. 16 year old me was PISSED my mom wouldn’t let me go.

41 year old me just texted her to thank her for not letting me go.
It’s funny how we evolve when we get older. 22 year old me would have had the best time there, but 47 year old me thinks of how big that crowd is and my anxiety ramps through the roof.

I return to work Tuesday after three months paternity leave

I am not a religious man, but I ask for your prayers regardless lol
Best of luck! Times have changed for the better. I missed one day of work for 3 kids being born, as the missus was in labor all day for the third. Glad that all parents now get time off to be with their family.

Thank god these people stopped. Its either this house across the pond thing or someone in their neighborhood but all they do is play obnoxiously loud music.

One of the only places I can actually relax is on the porch with coco

So its annoying

Id prefer they not ignorantly blast their music bothering 20+ houses but thats just me.
Several years back, we had a neighbour with teens who thought they were going to make it as a band. They have a separate garage at the end of their property so that turned into their studio. They were TERRIBLE and it was painful, the singer was extremely bad, they would have parties for their friends while playing as well. They usually stopped by around 10 or 11 PM, so we couldn't complain.
I have no clue what they called themselves but we nicknamed their band "Crud".

We live in a small town and most are related to each other or went to school together, we also couldn't complain because everyone would know it was probably us.....lol

My neighbor has been obnoxiously playing loud music from across the pond for 3 hours.

I am now countering with Project Pat and Three Six Mafia

Take that Santana and Tina Turner!!
That is the worst, especially on water....people have no clue how the sound travels....You can even hear people talking
Especially annoying when on vacation, and someone pulls up in a party boat and cranks it

And why does their music always suck LOL
