I love when folks remember the pets

Thats one reason we are staying. Would need to find coco friendly hotels if we fleed. We also arent IN an evac zone or flood zone.

Wish this site would let u upload videos so I could show everyone what exactly I am seeing.

Basically its going to pass over me inland

Booked a room next to the Tropicana as soon as they announced the demolition date (tonight)...lucked into a perfect view from our room.

I'm praying this thing loses a lot of it strength before it makes landfall. Some meteorologists are saying it should weaken some low 4 high 3 ... I would feel so much better if it were a cat 2 or less at landfall.

As it is now about 24 hours +/- from landfall as a cat 5 or 4 it would be catastrophic for those directly in the eye wall's path. Please pray for this thing to weaken greatly and for those still in it's direct path. Ty.

It is finally cooling off here in SW Ontario, just 2C (35F) and so nice and crisp! Our house is at 19C (66F), still nice and warm. I love this time of year, no need for AC or heat = free temperature control!!

Which reminds me:
