Exactly. An award is an award. Arguing which one is more important is simantics and leads to biases. Matthews getting best player from his peers, and MVP from the league means no argument who was best this season.
Another point is well you need team success. He wants playoff success, but he needs to celebrate his accomplishments. Losing early again shouldn't take away his historic season
