How does that poll get closed but the Barrie vs Brodie poll stay open despite a much more lopsided result?Eichel vs Matthews
Interesting... Eichel was winning this poll handily before the season but now Matthews is leading. I guess it's like they say, men lie women lie, numbers don't.

Even Strength goals through first 299 GP:Where is McDavid and Draisaitl on the list?
I mean when the guy scores 4 goals in his first ever NHL game, it feels like this should have been obvious. But its nice seeing things come to fruition.Best goal scorer in the NHL.

Imagine getting a goal in your first ever NHL game and not even feeling the need to cheer since you have already gotten 3.
Just reading. I got no issues with you guys or your players. Matthews is having a great year so far, just seeing what the people who watch him most think about his play.
Wow, how are Oiler fans saying Draisaitl is better? Makes no sense.Even Strength goals through first 299 GP:
McDavid: 109
Draisaitl: 62
Even Strength Goals through first 299 GP, no EN goals:
McDavid: 101
Draisaitl: 59
I mean, I don't necessarily think he's better, but to be fair, Draisaitl is much better now than he was through the beginning of his career.Wow, how are Oiler fans saying Draisaitl is better? Makes no sense.
Well tbf, most superstars do statpad against bad teams, mcdavid has like 8 points against ottawa, last year Matthews wouldn’t have these type of games so it’d hold his point totals back, and people would use that to say “he can’t score 100+“ when in reality he just scored when we needed him to, I don’t think he had more then 3 points against Detroit last year. While last night was a bit of a stat padding game, he's only been held scoreless once, coincidentally against Ottawa. His game-to-game consistency is really what's taken him to the next level.

True that. They are an insanely whiny fanbase.Oiler fans needs all player polls to be in favor of them.
If not they lash out and cry.
For sure he is, but not better than Matthews.I mean, I don't necessarily think he's better, but to be fair, Draisaitl is much better now than he was through the beginning of his career.
Canucks and Oilers fans.True that. They are an insanely whiny fanbase.

Hasn't been held scoreless in over a month, six of his goals are game winners, four opened the scoring. Not just scoring meaningless goals in blowouts. Arguably the front-runner for MVP at the moment. Crazy season.
