Here's our break room.

I taped up a two panel of Lucy from Peanuts 🥜. It's the same two panel I have up in my new digs in Newton.

Lyric courtesy of the inimitable Mozz,

Okay. One last bit from TD Garden.

Ignore the Arabella connection and appreciate the sentiment.

✔️💯♥️

There was also a horrible fatal accident at the 495/Rte. 1 intersection, which took hours to investigate and also to capture the perpetrator, who ran off. Stole an SUV from the Gillette lots, then rear-ended a family of six, killing their 10-year-old.

I don’t think I have words for this.
My mother just told us about this. She was asking if we saw anything. We had no idea. That is absolutely horrific. I hope they throw the book at him.

I think I do: vehicular manslaughter. 😡

I wanted to go to that! I keep hearing from everyone that it was incredible.

Last night was Simple Plan and Avril Lavigne. It was really nostalgic. And everyone sounds exactly the same as they did 20 years ago.

It felt good to be there, minus the chick in front of me vaping and her friend smoking weed and having both smoke blow in my face. I hate that

It's a good vibe. And the people who work there are friendly and chill. I just can't handle the smoke lol

Especially when it's hot and the fan wasn't on. And I love that they don't sell Aquafina water. Last night was all Liquid Death 😂

yeah. its 6$.
thats why you bring the unopened water in and refill for free at the refilling stations.
you also drink eat and smoke in the free parking lot before the show. thats why the place is the best.

What tunes did the crew play for you guys this time? And do you have a picture of you and Amanda on the schooner? Post if so.

Glad you are refreshed and ready for the 2024-25 Boston Bruins regular season!
No pictures of us.

They played a couple of Irish drinking songs, Beatles, James Taylor, Jim Croce, Jimmy Buffett, John Denver and others. Captain Sean wrote one for the schooner and the folks who work on it. It is fun and folks sing along. Captain Ben taught music in Chicago years ago.

Their newest CEO is an engineer with an aerospace background instead of an MBA. He's decided that he will be headquartered at Boeing's main plant in Seattle WA instead of corporate hq in Chicago. I think with a little luck he just might turn things around. I hope so, it would be a shame if Boeing collapsed.

I agree.

Those are steps in the right direction, but there is an entire culture of shortcuts and disrespect for the people who make the aircraft to dismantle.

The emphasis on profit over quality didn't spring up willy nilly. Sincere, effective redress will take time.

We'll see if the suits understand what kind of hole they have dug for themselves and how deep it is.

I have my doubts.

I agree, reforming the culture will be a long term project. Hopefully the new CEO can educate the board of directors & stockholders that building quality aircraft as opposed to quantity can be very profitable & they'll give him the time to do it. After all it was the formula that led to Boeing becoming one of the biggest & most profitable aerospace manufacturers around. Fingers crossed! :crossfing

Was talking to the youngest of my girls yesterday and she was telling me how she’s entering the army. She has just turned 17 but has always been in ROTC I just didnt know she wanted to be a soldier.

Of course im worried but if it gets her away from the influence of her mother the better

Glad the oldest moved.

Not to absolve the POS that stole the car and hit them, but I wonder if the death was preventable. 6 people in a car with 5 seatbelts
That's what I was thinking too.

I was shocked when I watched the news and it said the family was driving a small sedan, but 6 people were in it...from Vermont. That's extremely irresponsible. All 5 had seatbelts on. The child who obviously had none on passed. Seatbelts are so important. But also, making sure you're not having an excess amount of people in a car that you can't fit into.

It's a shame.
