Thanks @Johnny Engine for updating the OP. For some reason my work computer stopped allowing me to use the edit, reply, post reply buttons this afternoon. Completely random. I'd click them and nothing.

But today was the last day in the office so home computer for the win.

RW Justin Williams. He'll join another former Conn Smythe winner (Goring) on my checking line or serve as my second line RW.

f*** it been thinking I'd take this guy at some point, may as well make it now, Seattle will take C Logan Couture.

Yeah, he's a good pick right about now. Led a play-offs in goals and another one in points. Good two-way player. Probably would have played for the 2014 Olympic team if he was heathy. Super good kid. Very unselfish and great team guy.

As a longtime Sharks fan: Couture is not best described as "two way."

Like Bossy, he is well described as "responsible".

In all the many years Couture and Marleau played on the same line together, i can't recall Couture being first on the backcheck.

Mark Stone, RW

Based on Selke voting the best defensive RWer in the league for a few years. He has 6 relevant seasons, but missed a few games here and there that reduced his point totals.

6 ft 4 but disciplined.

Reuniting him with his new linemate Pacioretty, centered by Hlinka.

Bowman should love him.

Honestly he never even crossed my mind, but not a bad pick.

Somebody please link the Mark Stone crashcheck into Patty Marleau!

(I'm on my phone)

6'4 219 lbs Stone bounced off Marleau. Why? Patty is known to beast it on the stationary bike. That's why the old man can still fly (efficient technique plus training). He is tree trunks. Stone was NOT expecting that! Note how Patty kept the puck after the failed hit and passed, and how angry Stone was at the bench.

At the ATD level, Stone ain't much of a checker. He ain't no Peca or Stevens.

Mark Stone makes the ATD! I did not expect that. Time flies.

I loved watching him on the Sens. I checked out on them after he was traded.

He’s special defensively but not a traditional checker. Just very high IQ in his anticipation and ability to force turnovers, which is maybe more valuable offensively than defensively. He’s not just a system player defensively as he likes to gamble for the turnover but his instincts are good and I think Bowman would see that and let him do his thing.

Offensively he’s a terrific passer and can make any line work. He reminds me of Daniel Alfredsson in that way—he can play with anyone.
