I'd rather he contributed 82 1pt games than have a 3 pt game and go missing the next 3 games.
This exactly.

As much as hit total production, it's been his consistency that's impressed me.
You know the guy is going to make something happen in pretty much every game.

He can do that because he's not relying on just his shot or just his vision.
Many guys have vision--Strome is probably underrated in this regard--but the difference is that Panarin is more consistent at creating his own passing and shooting lanes to make use of that vision.

This dude is scary good. His anticipation of where pucks are going is mind blowing, amongst the best I've ever seen. And he just rarely if ever turns the puck over in the offensive zone. He's always finding somebody and unfortunately that somebody is usually one of our point men who's either a rookie defenseman or Brady Skjei

At the risk of being genetically repetitive, we are beyond fortunate to have him. In every facet, he has exceeded every optimistic expectation I had of what he may be.

edit: quick addition, question for those who would know: I recall an impressive advances metric for Panarin: Top 1% in successful zone entries and 99 percentile for successful zone entries. Who else is in this company?

Blackhwaks fan here. Kane and Panarin are my two favorite players and I watch them play every chance I get. I've watched allot of Panarin since he came into the league.
You guys are seeing how he's played his entire NHL career. He could easily be a 40 goal scorer but choses to dish the puck.
He's in the top % of forwards in this league without a doubt. He makes everyone he plays with allot better. I don't think there is anyone in the league who can draw coverage and still dish the puck so well. He's worth every penny you paid for him.
If guys could finish he'd have two assists a game or more.
I thought I heard the announcers say he's been on the ice for 58% of the goals the team has scored so far this year.

I like the Rangers young chemistry. They are fun to watch and greatly improved over last year.

as the standard disclaimer goes, most likely stolen from @Amazing Kreiderman somehow

Honestly... They sucked the fun out of doing these stats for me, so I now only the really obscure ones like Kakko being the 4th youngest to score in overtime etc. It sucks that I have to check every morning if they didn't already tweet something similar.

I'll say this... They're no longer copying my stuff but they certainly copied my style. Oh well. People calling it out is fun though. At least people know where this shit started
